Located within 200 metres from Petaling Street and Central Market, Hotel Geo offers free Wi-Fi throughout the property. It provides a 24-hour front desk and free parking.
Geo Hotel is 600 metres from Merdeka Square and a 2-minute walk from Pasar Seni Train Station. Kuala Lumpur International Airport is 60 km from the hotel.
Air-conditioned rooms are fitted with tea/coffee making and ironing facilities, a flat-screen TV and an en suite bathroom with a hairdryer and slippers. Toothbrush, toothpaste and free toiletries are provided.
Currency exchange services and sightseeing arrangements can be made at the tour desk. The hotel also offers laundry and luggage storage services.
Bukit Bintang area is a 10-minute bus ride. Geo Hotel Kuala Lumpur is about a 5-minute walk from the Pasar Seni LRT Station from KL Sentral and a 35-minute train ride from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). It is 4 stations away from KLCC, where the Petronas Twin Towers are located.
The location was great. Right next door to the Pasar Seni train station,
and across the road from china town and central markets. The hop-on-hop-
off bus stops right outside too. I am glad we got this one instead of
right inside china town as I can't imagine trying to get through the
crowded markets with suitcases. The hotel was clean, the staff friendly
and helpful. I didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on the
food. There are a lot of restaurant and stalls to choose from. Alcohol
only see. all reviews
THe location was perfect. We arrived at 5am and were concerned about
getting to our hotel so we picked this one right next to a train
station. The transfer went smoothly and the hotel staff gave us our room
at 5am! The next morning we walked to the bird and butterfly sanctuary
stopping at a mosk and a few other tourist spots. In the afternoon we
walked to the kl Tower... And then found out there is a free bus to
shuttle tourists around kl. The added bonus is that one of the bus stops
is right o.
My husband and I have been to KL numerous times and decided on GEO this time for our recent visit with our 2 kids aged 6 and 4. We did not regret any single bit of it. We asked for a smoking room and was given one on the third level which came with our own private balcony. I especially loved waking up in the morning and just chilling the balcony absorbing the city's sights, sounds and smell. Room was very cozy with wooden flooring and WIFI was very strong. Saw many people commenting about the t.
Location was strategic- kl Purple Line which is a free shuttle service
and the bus terminal is just outside. Can go to Twin tower/KLCC
within 10 mts. For Petronas Tower take kl greenline from KLCC-China town
and Central market all 2 mts walk. Lrt train its also a 2 minute walk-
with lrt train can go to kl central (1 rm) or Gomebek(3RM) to go to
Genting Highlands. Because of its strategic location can even take the
klia Express from the airport to kl central( 28 mts only)
Hotel staff is very nic.
Location, location, location. Geo Hotel kl is beside the bus and train
station on Pasar Seni and a short walk away from the Puduraya Bus
terminal. It is also in front of Central Market and at the edge of
Chinatown, so you get the convenience but not the chaos of it all. Rooms
are impeccably clean, amenities may not be top-notch but are available -
coffee and tea making facilities, hot shower, basic toiletries, safe.
Great value for money. Get the deluxe room with balcony which is just
3usd more.
Friendliness of and help received from the staff, its location in the heart of the China Town area and the accessibility of both Merdaka Square and the parks with the Bird and Butterfy Parks especially. The Central Market and the Kasturi and Petalang Street Markets are all within 3 minutes walk. Klang Bus Station and the railway are adjacent to the hotel making public transport to many parts of the city very easy in a city whose traffic congestion is notorious.
The hotel has excellent location - just next to Chinatown - plenty of
food options; culture market with nice handcrafts; transport - bus, Not
far from Pudu Bus station - about 15 minutes walk, mrt station is just
right outside of the hotel, walking distance from the city parks (bird
and butterfly parks), 10 minutes by mrt to city Centre. The room was
clean, tea/coffee/water in the room. Staff friendly. Booking
excursion just in the hotel.
Excellent location: very close to Chinatown, to main bus station, to metro (just at the back of hotel) and to the famous Reggae bar.
Rooms are compact but very well appointed. Good wi-fi connection.
We had a room facing the street which was fine. The other side of the hotel is facing the air metro and might be noisy (but we could not experienced this). Maybe ask for a street front room when booking.
Excellent value for money for KL.
Clean comfortable good value hotel in very convenient location i.e. in china town next to LRT station & central market. Free hop on hop off bus service right outside the door. Deluxe rooms while fairly small include a balcony so worth paying a little extra. Reggae bar nearby is good watering hole for those of us whose culture includes drinking beer.
This is the second time I hace satyed at this Hotel I service is always very good, Silverster the night shift manager off duty at the time remember me and came to the Taxi to greet me, Nancy on front desk had all my paper work done so I only had to sign the contract. Great place to stay at a good price will be using this hotel each time in KL.
The room was very spacious and clean. There was plenty of storage space,
lots of cupboards, so we could unpack and not feel cluttered, and a
lower part that would fit two reasonably-sized suitcases. It was also
near to Kasturi Walk and Central Market, as well as Pasar Seni
(station). It was a great room, all in all.
Location, location, location ! You could not imagine a better location in Kuala Lumpur! Free bus Purple Line just at the gate! Train station just 50 meters away. Hop on-Hop off bus stop just at the back gate to the hotel! Post office on the other side of the road! Central Market just 100 meters away.
- one 1 LRT stop from KL Sentral
- LRT Station Pasa Seni at the door step of the hotel
- walking distance to China Town
-Receptionists (m/f) very attentive
-WLAN ok
-decent rooms with suitable windows
- really soft white towels
- nice little bar for the last draught of the day.
Very clean hotel with very helpful staff. Even when returning to hotel at 2am in the morning, they are still cheerful. LRT station just a minutes walk away tthat takes you everywhere, even to Batu Caves! Chinatown is at the doorstep, so lots of wonderful food and shopping.
The friendly hotel staff, security & tour man, together with the most helpful and pleasant Restaurant staff
The restaurant has the best chef in KL, the meals were delicious and the wine (Rothbury) was great.
Easy access to the Central Market & Chinatown.
In a great location in Chinatown and there is also a free city bus which
stops outside the hotel. The hotel room was a little on the small
side, but had a lovely shower. We didn't try the food in the
restaurant. A good budget option for a short trip to K.L.
Location:: walking distance from Merdeka Square, Jamec Mosque, and Masjid Negara, and Little India; on the rim of Chinatown but still not inside it which is very good. Good breakfast; even though it was not included in the room price it cost only $3.
Good central location nearby KL Central railway station, Pudu bus station, Central Market. Convenient public transport just around the corner. Nice architecture, friendly and helpful stuff with good English. Clean. Good option for 1-3 day stay.
Very nice hotel, clean and QUIET - which is hard to come by in the center of Chinatown. It's two city blocks away from Petaling street and there are plenty of places to find food and shopping. Very convenient to Pasar Seni station, too.
Location - close to the underground station, free city bus stop, Central Market and China Town. Room was very small however it was clean and had good Internet connection and wide variety of TV channels plus basic breakfast included.
Location..easy 4min .walk with luggage to the lrt station 'Pasar
Seni '; most under cover as well .Free kl tourist bus at door front
. Value for money clean
v.good bedding.
hair dryer . flat screen TV .
small fridge in family room.
Everything, all the staff were very helpful, especially on reception. On the edge of Chinatown, near the bus stations, beside a hop on/hopoff bus stop, the location could not have been better. Very clean rooms and hotel in general.
I heard that this is a newly built hotel so it looks new and clean for
the interior. It's very close to the Central Market and within
walking distance to China Town. The bed is comfy. They have converter
for my usa modern iTouch.
Very nice hotel. It is near china town and nice market. Staff in hotel
is very friendly. Sylvester from front office helped me each time when I
asked. I liked this hotel and booked it - I have plans to come again in
kl next week.
The location is the best thing about this hotel. It is located in a walkable range to other interesting places such as china town, Majid Jamek, and central market. Moreover, it is next to the LRT which makes my trip alot easier.
great location next to all major attractions and with a very easy access by public transportation. clean, decent 3* hotel with a very friendly staff. they let us check-in at 7 am so 7 hours earlier without any extra charge.
The concierge was very welcoming. My room although small was clean, cool, quiet and comfortable. It was easy to find and so close to the train station, great for a solo traveller. The closeness to China Town is a bonus.
Very comfortable and large bed; awesome shower;
tea/coffee/water facilities in room; very convenient location
for china town and for the airport; cheerful and friendly staff; no
noise from street; good value for money.
Good location, close to China Town and Central Market as well as LRT Station. Security is good, there is a guard at the hall and you also have to put the key card to the censor at the lift before the lift can go up.
Very well location, just 2 min from LRT Pasar Seni. Neat, clean hotel. At the night we didn't use air con because very efficient internal ventilation of room. Breakfast available from 7 a.m. and costs 11RYM.
The hotel has got friendly staff and a security guard at the door. The
size of the room is good and it is pretty clean. The shower is great.
The location is very good, close to the metro and central market.
Perfect location near the Central Market and the free buses. Staff recommended the Reggae Bar up the street which was excellent for food and drinks, cheap and well presented. Plan to return once back in KL.
Staff were very accommodating, we arrived early after a long flight and were given our room without difficulty. Quiet hotel in a busy location. Easy reach of Pasar Seni LRT station, about 2 minutes.
Really great location.Pasar seni underground staition 2 min walk,In front of hotel "hop on hop off" touristic bus stop.Central market- on another side of road.
7/11 shop 24hours across the road.
Staff very friendly. My wife forgot her purse in the room, and when we
checked in again two days later ( after a trip to Genting), the staff
had found the purse and returned it to us. Fantastic.
Friendly staff. Allowed us early check-in. Room was small, but had all the modern amenities. Prices were reasonable. Very close to ChinaTown. Plus the free shuttle bus stop is right next door.
Next to Pasar Seni station, central market and chinatown, large rooms, good
and helpful staff. Wifi was pretty good despite occaisonal drop out.
Short walk to Chin woo pool in afternoon for swim.
in my opinion this hotel got the best location in Kuala Lumpur. in the middle of everything and so easy to get everywhere from here. Surprisingly its also cheap with all the feature you got.
We always stay at Geo Hotel whenever we are in KL.It is so convenience as it's within the shopping belt like Chinatown,Central Market,Masjid India LRT and bus terminal just beside the hotel.
Very friendly and accommodating staff at the information center. Near the center for transportation around the city and country e.g. free city tour transport, near LRT and train stations.
3 mintues walking distance to the LRT station & Central Market. Most attractions are within 15 mintues walking distance which makes it an ideal location to settle down. Friendly staff.
just one station from Central Station and at the edge of Chinatown, it is an ideal location fropm where to explore the city. The room was clean, modern, quiet and well worth the money.
Excellent locations to shop around Petaling Street, Central Market, Masjid India, Kasturi Walk & convenience store eg.. 7eleven, pharmacy and Money Changer who charge @good rate.
Frendly staff and convenience for it's location in the city Kuala
Lumpur.very close to Chinatown, but some streets in Chinatown are dirty
while some other streets are clean.
Its so convenient. Just beside Pasar Seni Lrt line. Opposite central market. 5mins to Kota Raya and Chinatown. Lots of food centre. 3stops to KLCC. Everywhere convenient.
The staff were courteous, friendly, accommodating and very helpful; the place was accessible to important areas like food establishments, shopping and sightseeing places.
The hotel is an excellent location for business logistics, very clean, compact but well used space, good customer care and secure. I plan to be there again my next stay.
Good location only 5-min walk to China Town or lrt station. This hotel
also provides car park with guard. Clean, comfort, convenient place,
highly recommend this hotel.
Good wifi, clean room, friendly staff and natural light in the room.
Close to china town and subway. Just beside free shuttle bus to shopping
malls and petrona towers.
The staff are excellent! They made our last night in Malaysia quite
enjoyable. Really attentive to our needs, quite a bit more than the
average Malaysian hotel staff.
For some reason (no matter where I stay) I don't like having to walk
past a front desk to get to my room, even though the staff are friendly.
But it wasn't a big deal, just personal preference. The sheets were
clean but had one or two small marks on them. I suspect they are
laundered locally, which is great for the local people. And they were
definitely clean, so not really a problem.
I found a couple ants in the room. This is common throughout Asia but I
was hoping to escape having to toss our luggage when we get home.
Food is ok. But more or less the same menu. Fried Rice, Fried Mee,
Scramble Egg, Vegetables. Mushrooms Nugets, and fruits, corn flakes etc.
Bathrooms are really small, and once you shower, the whole
bathroom gets wet.
The absence of integrated breakfast facilities was somewhat inconvenient but for the tariff this was a very small quibble. There is a cafe attached that serves meals throughout most of the day at very reasonable prices and with a high standard of service when we were there.
Nothing that I can say I didnt like.
No bell service for luggage but this is only a detail.
Breakfast bought in hotel lobby was rubbish. Go out there are plenty of places nearby.
Pavements in the area are not good, and there is a lot of traffic so
travelling on foot is stressfull and probably inadvisable.
Dark room. Be aware about the few narrow streets in the direction to the Chinatown - quite high risk to be robbed !.
-b/f very basic, esp for Non-Asians, even with respect to the low price.
Would have prefer if there is a fridge in room.
The sloping floor in the bathroom/toilet - which, when you have a shower, the whole bathroom/toilet floor gets wet.
This could well be rectified with a piece of timber (?) separating the shower from the rest of the bathroom, thus keeping the water in the shower bay.
There is a lot of "free" area in the lobby - some is used for baggage, etc., but a few more shops (like the jewellery store) could be incorporated.
The wi-fi dropped out frequently so you had to keep re-entering the
code. Smoking is only allowed out the front of the hotel, which is
fine, but it would be nice if they could provide an ashtray to save
littering the streets.
Nothing, everything was fine.
The whole bathroom, including toilet getting wet during shower. Because of a high humidity the bathroom stays wet all day long, probably due to limited ventilation. Noisy ceiling fan-coil, even on low mode.
Noisy doors & neighbours in interconnecting family room. Noseperate
door between toilet& basin & the shower ..water into the floors
both . although all of Geo is non smoking ; occass one smells tobacco
smoke in hall ways.
Nothing not to like, but a pool would have made it even better.
Front desk is a bit busy, usually a long line if I want something from
them. Hope they can improve the efficiency of their staffs.
The beds weren't very clean. There was some dirt and dust on the beds. Other things were clean.
no major points to improve.
There was only powdered whitener and no milk so was not able to have a cup of tea.
We could hear the other room doorbells ringing in the morning which
woke us up.
The air-conditioner is too cold even when you switch to 'low' and you cannot control the temperature yourself, therefore you either take more clothes or turn off the air-con temporarily.
Water on the floor around WC and sink. We had rubber slippers so it was no problem, but in other way it's annoying.
Breakfast was not too bad, but the options were slim (unless you prefer
asian breakfast).
Toilet leaked a bit and some water on floor but nothing to worry about .
Not enough floor for smokers like me.And the bisness counter insufficient for internet usages.
The bathroom should be repaired so that the floor in the toilet will not get wet all the time.
Towel has a bleach smell. No bathtub.
Ambience at Hotel Lobby looks very dull, limited car parking lots.
The utensils in the room like glasses were not cleaned thoroughly. There was no toothbrush and toothpaste.
It really was a nice stay - perhaps the a/c fan is a bit loud and I
think the shower could have a better separation from the toilet area,
but these are minor complaints at best.
