Upon my arrival a welcome drink was served and I was attended with very friendly staffs. Along the way I was tour around on a buggy before reaching my Villa. The interior of the villa was welly designed and decorated. The amenities provided was well planned. The most impressed me is the welcome card with a complimentary fruit on the desk. I love the bed,it was so comfortable. The food quality and presentation was very well served and the price is very reasonable for a 5 stars resort. The whole .

Dont miss to drink the real natural water that offered by the hotel in your room in the oriental Ipoh's pot. This hotel is highly highly recimmended for honeymoonersand whi ever needs to get relax far away from traffic life. (The Banjaran: means the mountain edge) We booked for a garden villa, amazing hotsprings bath in each villa, the view of the mountain is really amazing, yet the best was the caves (the meditation and the steam cave) however no vesitor shall miss the jeff's celler (the bar) the serve non alcoholic drinks as well it was really unforgetable ... Everything! The large villa with comfortable living area, the pool, the geothermal jacuzzi, the large and comfy bed, the nice smelling shampoo and body wash. The Dr. Fish spa, the pool, the geothermal dipping pool....I can go on and on. One night isn't enough actually. Stay for at least 2 nights. This is a great place to stay and relax. Beautiful setting and very friendly staff. Not much more to say than EXCELLENT, accept the restaurant I would have expected a higher quality of food, but that was just average. Other than that I wuld definitly recommend. The villa facilities were great; a private geothermal spa, cool off pool, and even an outdoor pavilion. All the equipment was well maintained. Outside, we enjoyed the beautiful landscaping as we took in the gorgeous sight of surrounding limestone caves. The hotel is amazing in almost every aspect. I do enjoy my stay here. Amazing superb wonderful lovely ... We just loved it !!!. overall ambience. other is good. everything. The place was wonderful, staff were nice and the scenery was breathtaking. The villa was very private and quiet. Jeff's Cellar, in a cave which was an experience I will never forget. Surrounding and the setting amidst nature. The public area of Hot Dipping Pots is not really clean. The hotel must reconcider the lunch & dinner menues to me be match with Arabs. Because we tried the dinner and it was a very bad try we will never repeat again and thats why we went in the next day to get our lunch at outside resturant (Hadarmot) by the way it was cool. Takes about 2:30 hrs from Kuala Lumpur, either by private transport or train :/ Ipoh area has no activities other than what in the retreat !!. The price...but that's pretty subjective ;). nothing. People in neighbouring villa smoking wafted into our side. Breakfast is not included in the rate, even the rate itself is already at a high level. Mosquito, toilet broke down and had to call 3 times to check on the status, lack of choice for food. Bad experience with one of the chef during breakfast. He insisted the pomelo restaurant opens at 7:30am when the front office informed me that it opens at 7am. He was grumpy cos he had to serve me at 7:10am. He deserves to go back to training. Air cond was noisy. Dr Fish pond was dirty on Friday. No washing basin at courtyard. res pamelo food poor, expensive,. the food at the restaurant. food at pomelo pricey. breakfast was not good and portions meagre. smoked salmon on the scrambled eggs shud not have been cooked. bed in the villa too soft. woke with a backache. The opening at the bottom of the door let in a mouse which was stealing chocolates from our room, our pool filtration wasn't working and the facilities should be taken care of a little more. The staff at the restaurant was unknowledgeable and unfriendly. Was disturbed with noisy a'con spoiling our sleep ( wife and mine ).
