I liked that is was so easy to get to from the airport just hop on the 6015 bus which was easy to find, and it takes you right to the hotel. This is important if you don't know Seoul and have just gotten off a long haul flight. I would stay there again as it was in the centre of the town but we only had one night so not much time to get about sightseeing. Fabulous staff -- professional, friendly and extremely helpful, a really topnotch crew. Perfect location right at the airport bus express stop and close to the train station and Metro. Plenty of shops and restaurants are nearby as is a big market. Our room was clean and comfortable. We were really happy here.
all reviews » very good location in the heart of myeong-dong (shoping-theatres-lotte department store- cinema )etc and very close to the metro station,,airport shuttle bus will drop you in front of the hotel for $10 only ,,i realy like it. good location, sorounded by shopping area and restaurants. easy access to go everywhere. and helpful staffs. they have their own desk just for information to us. make easier for us to explore more the city. I liked this hotel from a previous stopover so much , I decided to return to see if it was as good again. It was! So next time I travel via Seoul, I'll be booking this same hotel. Definitely the location with the subway a stone s throw away and the main shopping in Myeongdong literally just a minute away. Hotel staff were all helpful and understood English. It's all about LOCATION. location is great. staff atitude. Very good。. The location is very convenient as it is very near to the subway to get to other parts of Seoul.The airport express bus stop is just right in front of the hotel and this makes it very convenient from and to the airport as the airport bus runs in a loop service. The hotel is right next to the Myeongdong Pedestrian shopping mall which has small shops, retail chains (like Mango, H&M,Zara) and of course beauty shops at every corner of each junction. Opposite Ibis is the upmarket Lotte Departm. The location is very convenient, right at Myeong Dong, and the airport shuttle is right at the front door, the underground railway is only 2 mins walk from the hotel, so perfect location, they also have free shuttle daily to take you to some major sightseeing spots, the staff on the ground floor is very helpful. I like they have the hot bathing provided on 19/f. When i arrived in the early morning, even the room is not ready yet. I can take the shower and enjoy a warm welcome drink. which is very comfortable. Situation in city is good. Airportbus on doorstep. Reception/restaurant with a nice view. The location was good! No complaints whatsoever. emergency exit stairs are closed for security reasons but this is little bit dangerous in case sudden fire or accedents ,,. The double room was a wee bit too small and somehow the cleaners did not take out the trash in our room. the smell of the room. had requested non-smoking room and the reception affirmed my booking again when i checked in. But when I went into the room, there is still smell of smoke but since I am not in the room all the time, was too lazy to request for a change. Bathroom is small. No free breakfast. I like the airconditioning a little cooler and it was set 25.6. The rooms are small but go for the suites, if money is not tight. Only issue is the suites only have double beds! Should have some suites with two single beds. Modular Bathroom was cramped. TV screen is a bit small though it doesn't really matter since most of time we were out. Nothing. The room was on the small side. Rooms a bit dark but comfortable. Can't seem to adjust the aircon. music at breakfast too loud. Air condition in Room is bad, especially only have heater in winter, no fan and air exchange. average 3 star hotel. N/A. The concierge on the 19th floor is a bit inconvenient but it doesn't cause too much unhappiness to us as the pluses outweighs this little minus. The carpet is very old and dirty, bed is ok, but when I call the hotel to ask for 2 more pillows, they asked me to go to them to get it, they won't bring it to me my room, and it was so inconvenient cause I was in my pj, very poor customer service, also when check in, that staff was very rude, when asked for a city map, didn't bother to show it to me and just point me to a wall and ask me to find it by myself, extremely not helpful!. when i turn on the water machine for shower, it will occur a very loud voice which is very annoying. And i afraid seems like a warning signal of a bomb. First night, there is no hot water provided for shower. that is a first winter night i stay in Seoul. Tired and bathing without hot water. The price I paid for one night for two rooms was way above average. The rooms were smelly, two rooms one for me and one for my son. Remedy staff was spraying. Not acceptable. We had two other rooms. One was ok the other better but not quite good. Some of the staffs were not friendly and helpful especially at the front desk at Ground Floor. No toothpaste in the bathroom. Not guarantee for room with city view. The reception lady staff was not as helpful n friendly compared to my last stay in November 2012 when I was checking in.
