a good place near jeju city bus terminal and near 24h convinient shop. stuffs can speak english very well, thats really helpful. stay there first day and last day and made 2 korean friends there.free breakfast in the morning since 8:00am, including toast,korean cup noodle,coffee, orange juice,egg,tea bag.of course you can cook by yourself.so many korean stay there.ladies room have polish remove,cotton,body cream,hair dry in public space.bath room serve toothpaste,3 bottles things maybe shampoo . all reviews »
We booked a dorm for 8 and it was really affordable! There were
sufficient toilets with good facilities like a powder room with hair
dryer, hair straightener and all. I found the bed and blanket really
comfortable despite staying in a dorm with 8 other people. It's a
good chance to meet new people. We met a couple of people from our
country, but most people who stay there are still Koreans. Breakfast has
to be made yourself and dishes washed so it's a pretty good
experience.
I like the location, it is near to the airport which is about 10 minutes drive, and the staff and hospitality is very nice. What I liked the most is that the guesthouse offered Sum tour in which the driver/tour guide accompany us throughout our trip around Jeju Island, got discounted entrance fees, and the hired driver fees is reasonable. We took English speaking driver and he was very fun, I guess that's what make our stay in Jeju most enjoyable and memorable!.

I can really recommend you Sum Guest house. It is probably the best guest house which I ever been into (in Korea).
Staffs are very good in English and that makes it easy for us to ask anything :) The place is very clean and we love the design! Its a very nice and cozy place to stay. Its very near to the main road, and we can get taxi very easily. Next time if we're going to Jeju, we'll definitely will stay at SUM guesthouse again. :).
We had so much fun here, the design, the colour is unique and the facilities is more than you ever needed when you stay at guesthous.
Sum guesthouse also provide jeju tour, and you can choose where do you want to go.. So the route so flexible and time also flexible. But better you're in a big group more than 4 people..

This guesthouse was new and super clean. WIFI signal was very strong. Facility wise, sufficient enough to cater your needs when staying in a guesthouse.
We like everything about it! :) The common area is very clean an cute :) Staffs are very good in English, so you wont be having troubles in communication. The room is clean and tidy and comfy. We'll definitely come back to Sum Guesthouse in the future. :) I totally recommend this guesthouse to any type of traveler.

there is 3 bottles in the bathroom maybe shampoo or hair condition.coz only a lettle in the bottle,so i am not sure which one is shower gel,shampoo and conditon.
The people staying in your dorm are likely to sleep quite early, like
10pm plus plus. So we can't go back too late cos we didn't want
to wake up the other dorm mates who should be already sleeping. And the
powder room where the hair dryer etc is (technically) cannot be accessed
after 11pm in order not to disturb other guests staying in the room
where the other dorms are located.
There is no wifi in the room. We have to go the common area to access internet. The room is nice and clean but since we stayed in 8-pax dorm, we have to stayed with other occupants which is quite uncomfortable because you have to stay really quiet,no chit-chatting during night that we have to literally whisper to each other.But I guess that is a norm for those who chose dorm that have other occupants.
My Koreans roommates. They were very noisy.
The guest house do not have elevator lift so we have to carry our luggage to the 3rd floor.
Would be much better if could have more toilets with attached shower room or split toilet and shower room.
Just sidetrack a little bit. Nothing much to do at night time as the nearest shopping/food street was at least 20 minutes away by foot.

the toilet bowl on my floor felt like not correctly installed... shaky and make strange sounds when sitting on it.

the staff advice us do not take bath after 10pm and early before 8am(so that do not disturb others),advice is good,but we hard to follow,we came back late and go out early.
