Extremely friendly and helpful staff, my first time transit overnight stay in Seoul so cannot compare to other establishments but I would quite happily stay at Sky Hotel again as sometimes the people you encounter make all the difference, starting with the very friendly hotel driver my short stay was enjoyable, the bed was comfortable, (although an extra pillow wouldn't go astray for side-sleepers like myself), the room was clean, the location was convenient.
all reviews » The staff is extremely helpful, and speaks English fluently. The schuttle service to and from the airport is very punctual. The hotle is less than 5 minutes walk to the train station, so you can easily take the train to and from the city in a day. WE've stayed at this hotel many times during our overnight layover in Seoul. The room was spacious, the bed large, had air-con and flat screen cable T.V., was clean & well presented, large bathroom with excellent power- shower, very quiet, double windows. Lift to floors. In an area close to shops & diverse restaurants, Free transport to/from airport within 10 minutes. Very close to the airport. The location is great as has lots of good local restaurants around the area. There is a Lotte mart just around the corner for any shopping. The hotel seems older but is very clean and comfortable. I have stayed here about 4-5 times and havent a complaint yet. Close to the airport with free shuttle. In the surroundings are several restaurants where you can have reasonably priced dinner/breakfast. Rooms are quiet and great for relaxing between flights. Especially I recommend this hotel for ones waiting for their connecting flight overnight. Staff spoke good English. Was picked up quickly from the airport. Received a prompt wakeup call in the morning as requested, and was also accommodated well in the bus back to the airport (they run every half hour, you have to tell them which one you want to go on when you check in). Distance from airport as only required for 1 night transit accommodation. Shuttle picked us up within 10 mins. Rooms warm. Plenty of places to eat in the vicinity, staff gave advice on where to go and also changed money into local currency for us to use. It was easy to get to; very comfortable and good value for money. Coffee in the lobby was only 50 cents. There were places to eat near the hotel. A very good experience. We will stay there again when we leave Korea. Thankyou!. Hotel looks dull and unattractive from outside, not at first sight appealing. Staff efficient but a little dour, not overly welcoming!. Nothing bad to say. You get everything you pay for. Beds hard (personal opinion). Rules ask not to use plugs for electricals that do not exist in room so not able to charge items for onward flight. Baby cot needs to be replaced as it wasn't very sturdy. It was fine for our 9 month old but he doesn't move much and doesn't stand up. Nothing to do in the area (OK for overnight stay, not longer). Minimal catering facilities. bed uncomfortable, smoking in other areas of hotel. 1. Sky needs a continental breakfast program. There is no breakfast. 2. Coffee needs to be available and abundant early in the morning- fresh brewed, not from a machine. No restaurant. Nothing, everthing was very good. I was disappointed that the last shuttle to the airport was 12.00pm.However I managed to get one at 2.00pm as they were collecting another customer. the number provided to call the hotel upon arrival cant get through. only after multiple trial can get through. It was a whopping 10 minute drive away...that was the worst of it. Very hot temperature during the night and it was impossible to reduce it... Not much choose of english tv channel. No complaints. Would have liked to have a US type of electrical adapter so that I could have used my alarm clock. My toilet didn't work properly. Shower was clogged and seems like they never clean under the bed : (. Bathroom not clean. Big Northern Bully Brother Kim Jong was rattling sabers only a few miles north. Provide more suggestion of other activities for travellers such as hiking ,cycling. The surroundings are a bit so-so. Clowns in all night shop across road laughing loudly & constantly throughout the night. The bed was too hard for me for good sleeping, and the room wasn't as clean as I would have preferred. Nothing. No real breakfast,. Need up date !. Exspensive. the hotel didn't have any facilities of its own. Small room, shuttle limited to fixed hours. Beds a bit too firm.
