We had an enjoyable stay at Whitesands. The staff especially are very friendly and I would like to mention especially Anthony, Ana and Stephen in the main restaurant. The food was excellent. We tried both the restaurants - seafood and Italian - for lunch and they were great. The rooms are very well appointed. Highly recommended.

Everything! What an amazing place, the staff quite simply can't do enough for you. The place is very well laid out with a children s pool located at one end and a quiet pool and spa at the other. The atmosphere is so very relaxed! The rooms are of an excellent standard. The food was excellent, and the gym super. Very nice rooms and facilities, and good atmosphere at the hotel bar by the beach at night. - Amazing bathrooms and toiletries - Perfectly clean, everything was at an exceptional level of perfection. the staff was great. Food , pools, beach. Beutiful beach and ocean, newly decorated room, personnel are very friendly. It wasn't that we didn't like it however downtown Mombasa isn't exactly set up for tourists however at Whitesands you have everything you could want. The frontdesk chief could be more accommodating, and the consierge better. - Only 1 place to access the beach, so needed to walk quite far. sarova was not good value for money, for the amount they are demanding, its too expensive, and the place was just too loud, where ever you turn they were people, if you wanted to get away looking for peace and relaxation it was the wrong place. Loud misic till the late at night, rooms are not very clean especially bathroom, reconstruction works all over the hotel, no unique standard in managing the hotel.
