Rooms are large and clean enough, but the furniture is a little bit old. Service is excellent though. Staff is very helpful and ready to do anything for you. The pub - Six Barrels is a great place to kill time in the evening if you don't want to go anywhere else. Overall experience is quite good. We could get the room lot earlier than the "official" check-in (as we arrived very early in Amman, and we did not slept in the flight, it was more than welcome!) Very convenient if you come with the bus from the airport.
all reviews » The Hisham is a small hotel in the diplomatic area of Amman near the third circle. It has a cosy feeling and the room was very nice and comfortable. The staff were very helpful. This was my second stay there. Almost old school British atmosphere. Nice pub. At the price and peaceful location, a real gem. Laid back Good food Great bar Inexpensive Big rooms Great location Safe. Friendly helpful staff with good location. Nice staff. Nice rooms. Not much really. It was all ok but i thought it was nearer downtown than it was certainly not 10 mins. The reception actually told us 30 mins, citadel would have been at least 40 mins, wifi was free for 200mb which was ok. It was quite a modern hotel which wasn't how the decription read to me. But it was ok. Lovely room, clean modern with a comfortable bed. Most of the people that I met we're friendly and obliging ... However most people are when their trying to remove your money from you pocket !!. A great location for downtown Amman and its sights and souqs but in a quiet part of town where the Embassies are situated Great staff and a pleasant breakfast in the Courtyard. 1. the location and the patio for a drink and breakfast. 2. very friendly security staff. 3. Proximity to airport road. Friendly staff, outdoor area. Large rooms and bathrooms. Many bars around. a bit noisy since there is a bar directly in the hotel. Not near main sites (although downtown hotels can be disappointing). Taxis are not hard to get. My short stay!!. Limited Free internet Bit noisy. Very difficult to find. Gps coordinates were not available and we drove in a circle for about an hour. Very frustrating. Complimentary tea and coffee missing although cups and kettle available. Building works to the rear of the hotel disrupted sleep throughout most of the night. Huge bar prices...and taxi fares.. Go prepared with plenty of cash... The Bar can be a bit noisy so ask for a room on the 4th Floor. 1. hard pillows 2. Duvet too hot for Amman weather 3. Poor WIFI (no signal in 407) and you have to log in every time you go on line 4. Incredibly noisy in evening to the point where I could not sleep (both from bars/restaurants in the hotel, motorcycles, and people returning to rooms on my floor) 5. Uninspired breakfast. Bathroom - was tired - shower leaked all over floor and toilet flush was broken. Breakfast was poor with same food put out 3 days in a row (hummous was getting crusty by the 3rd day) no fresh orange juice. Breakfast to improve. The rooms were fairly shoddy. I moved rooms teo times due to construction issues and the noise outside. There were leaks in the bathroom, the shower doors were flush to the ground and difficult to open. The carpets were torn in one room. It's not clean and the free breakfast was less than memorable. For $150 a night, I expected better.
