  We initially booked a double room but chose to upgrade on site to a suite, including a private onsen on our balcony. This upgrade was no problem and the best descision we could make. It was just LOVELY to share a bath overlooking the river, mountains and town (drinkig together a tea; in the onsen, but don't tell).
