Really friendly staff, going beyond the standard polilteness level of Japanese hotels and making the stay personable. Hotel equipped with everything a 5 star hotel needs. Nice lounge with great view. Good location right across Osaka station. Awesome, beautiful room and very, very helpful staff. Good wifi reception, although it was outrageously expensive (1685 yen per day!!). Lovely restaurants.

The room I stayed in was supposed to be non-smoking but there was a very distinct smoke smell, even on first opening the door. It was too late and I was too tired to ask for another room. But I mentioned it to staff when I checked out and he discounted my bill. I think there are a lot of lovely restaurants in this hotel but they are all overpriced. In room internet not free. Hard to find a big issue. Can't think of anything. Internet is chargeable in the rooms. Offered to upgrade twice. had to pay extra for internet. Getting into the Executive lounge in the evening was a challenge. Stayed four nights and never got in once without either giving up or waiting for a call-back. some of the staff were not friendly and helpful. beds are too small has not enough space for a child and an adult in one bed. The very high room rate and no free wifi in the room. I agree it was high autumn season but surely they could give free wifi. Theres is no english channel in the room and wi-fi fee is kind the costly. No complemetery water in the room. Pay for wifi in 2013. It all gives a feeling of greed instead of welcoming. The hotel look old, need renovation.. Service at times slow. High cost of the internet in the room. The hotel's rooms need to be renovated, that what's I didn't like most about the hotel. Small bathrooms, only get Free WIFI in the lobby. They did not make my room fast enough and top of the world restaurant was gave me terrible customer service. I will never go back to this Hilton again. The standard of service was very poor. The business centre could not print and scan documents. Had to beg for Internet to be included. We booked 5 rooms for 3 nights. And it seems the staff were not used to working with non Japanese people. We were charged for breakfast when it would be included. Had to pay a cover charge to enjoy a drink in the bar. Not happy. Such an expensive hotel, WiFi is not free!. Room are old and smell bad !.
