Spacious room, good location and helpful staff - especially with how to eat the multi-course, traditional dinner that is included. Onsite onsen had both indoor and outdoor pools. Decor is quite tired and dated and could do with a refresh. Be aware that the futon roll on the floor isn't particularly comfy if you are used to a western-style bed!.

No reservation is needed to use the shuttle; guests can simply call the hotel upon arrival at Nikko Train Station, and the shuttle should arrive in less than 10 minutes. Please note that restaurants around the area are limited and may close early in the evenings. Dining options may be difficult to find after this time. If guests with a room-only or a breakfast-inclusive rate wish to eat dinner and/or breakfast at the property, they need to make a reservation at least 1 day in advance.
