  I loved the fact that the hotel was located right behind the JR station. That was a huge plus! To add on, the hotel was close to the shopping malls! There was even an onsen which was free for all guests, though it was rather small. the rooms were alright, clean, but not very spacious. Wifi was provided at the lobby.   Amazing location. Just a few minutes walk from the gardens and castle. There is also a Seattle's Best cafe in the lobby so if you need caffine. The staff provided me with an english brochure Kanazawa. with a map of the surrounding sites of interest, bus routes, and suggestions for dinner. Please note as other reviews have said the rooms can b... what people say » e quite small. This was no problem for me since I was solo, and only had a 26L backpack. But other people may want to be notified. One other thing - This hotel has communal baths and I took 2/day. It was very hot in the daytime so it was great to have the hot batch when we returned from a ay's sightseeing. Hotel has buses out front including sightseeing city loop bus. Lobby cafe has rare reasonable coffee including cappuccino.

  Excellent location-15 minute walk from kanazawa station; 20 minute walk to katamachi, which is the shopping and restaurant district. Opposite the Omicho market. 20 minute walk to Kenrokuen garden. Spacious guest room, very clean and nice decor. Hotel staffs speak good English, very friendly and helpful.

  It was a very short walk from the train station (5 minutes), clean, comfortable, close to plenty of bakeries, cafes and restaurants. A short walk to the tourist loop bus.
