This was our only Ryokan experience during our Japan trip and we enjoyed the lovely (and plentiful) evening meal in our room and breakfast that was included in our half board. The seafood and sashimi was fantastic and allowed us to try some dishes we might not have had the confidence to order in a restaurant.
