I liked sleeping on the mattress they put on the tatami mats-I deliberately rented a room for 2 people so that I would have 2 beds to use, and I was proven correct because the single bed would have been too narrow for me. The onsen-style bath, like a small hot tub, was nice. Our traditional room was clean and spacious with pleasant decor. The hosts were helpful and informative, and the location was convenient for sightseeing and dining.
