Good location, just a few mins walk from the JR main station; very nice and helpful staff, cosy common room with books, games etc., plenty of information available about what to do in Hiroshima and around, transport options etc. Hostel with enourmously friendly stuff that speaks verry good english. It's very close to the train station and therefore a good place to discover Hiroshima and the surroundings like Miyajima.

Narrow hallways, lack of toilets and showers. - None. no wifi in the rooms. A little bit noisy because of tram. Close to the trainstation so chotto noisy, wifi Connection slowly sometimes. A bit noisy from traffic and trains, but it will not wake you up... 1) No towel provided. 2) Not much choices of good food within 5min walk. 3) The wet market nearby are closed. 4) My room are in front of graveyard. Nothing.
