I liked the whole setup of the resort. The layout of the property was very comfortable and flowed very easily. I enjoyed the various forms of entertainment available to keep you busy and the fact that it is also family-friendly for those travelling with kids. Quite relaxing. Staff was courteous and helpful. Facility was nice. Easy access to hotel. Intimate surroundings. Staff professional and proactive. Staff recognized that we were locals and we were treated with respect unlike other hotels.

Staff was friendly. I liked the Holiday Inn SunSpree because the staff are all friendly andf the atmosphere was good. I love the warmth of the staff. Very friendly bunch. Food was excellent. Convenience Friendly staff Plenty of food and drink. Location. Poolside grill provided the best food. The adult pool was great. Breakfast was the best on buffet. The room was always clean. •There was lots of activities for the children to take part in throughout the day •Beach island was lovely. The variety of the restaurants and buffet choices. Personnel was very courteous but not always helpful. I thought the price was reasonable and I liked that the spa services were reasonably priced. The beds were comfortable and the food was good. The location was great. The front office service was very good and helpful. Most of the staff were helpful and courteous. Staff was nice and friendly. The late check-in at 3:00pm. For those arriving early, it is hard to wait for your room to be made ready. However, there is much that can be done in the meantime to make you as comfortable as possible. Selection of deserts were limited. The rooms could do with an update, fans in bathroom would be suggested to prevent mouldy smell. letsbookhotel.com description was off with regards to the rooms; I.E. ocean view. We had to change rooms due to the fact that letsbookhotel.com did not describe correctly. I am sure there was more than one complaint. No transportation from the airport was included with was a headache. buffet food was fair, but nothing to brag about...shower curtain was too short,everytime we shower the whole floor was soak and wet.... Rooms need a little updating, especially the bathrooms, but nothing we didn't expect from a 3 star. I would rate the food as generally average but on few occasions very bad; particularly so on Sunday evening (20/10/13). No much entertainment going on during the day, only in the evening but for a very short while. the food. The price I saw on letsbookhotel.com was not the price was quoted when I got there. I was disturbed and had to wait to find my booking reservation to verify. Was not pleased with that. I did like some of the bar staff as they didn't smile and came across very serious which I didn't like. The air conditioner in room needs to be more function.. A little bit more Jamaica foods. Entertainment should start earlier. . Very noisy Distance from downtown Basic accommodation. They claimed to not have my confirmed change in day of arrival. I had to go to another hotel for the first night. Did not get the room I reserved. Not allowing food in the room was a bit much. I would not have booked here if that fact had been made known. Some staff members were not friendly. •There were flies pitching all over our meal •Fridge in our room wasn't stocked with no complimentary drinks...not even water •Limited choice of food each day. The electricity went out early every morning for about 20 - 30 minutes, causing us to reset clocks and no aircondition or lights in room. Also, the resort was always short of products or just didn't have any. 1) Although some staff were pleasant and polite I encountered several very rude employees. 2) There was a $30USD shuttle service fee that was completely unreasonable and not advertised 3) the food was mediocre at best. not a lot of selection for such a large buffet. 4) the beach was dirty and unappealing. 5) the beachside activities like kayaking and snorkeling were limited to inappropriate, extremely shallow stretches of beach. 6) the entertainment was painful to watch. All the staff from the front desk to the bars were depressed had a bad attitude made me feel down. The only two staff that I saw smile and helped me properly were at the guest service desk were you make your reservations for dinner I believe one ladies name was siddylyn and the guy at the jerk hut. It was raining. There are no covered walkways from the Parking Lot to Reception and from reception to bedrooms. Dinner on Sunday June 16 was of poor quality. Be careful when taxing around. Know the cost in advance - there is not "set price" unless going to and from the airport. Food was bad, drinks were of poor quality, facilities ugly and a very limited beach space. Would never go again.
