We chose Stresa Residence for two reasons - (1) it was an apartment rather than a hotel and had a full kitchen; and (2) it was less expensive than most of the hotels we looked at as well. We were very happy with our choice. We ate all of our breakfast in as well as some of the lunches (with the kitchen and a grocery store a block away this was easy).
