This hotel has an excellent location it is situated very near both to the railway station and the center - Piazza Bra where Arena Di Verona is. It takes about 10 minutes walking to reach the center or the station. The breakfast is just sufficient, not rich, but it is enough. There is some cheese and ham, not only sweets, which is typical for the majority of the Italian hotels. The room which we had, faced a quiet inner yard and we had really a good night slleep. I would definetely recommend th.

Verona Centre was a brisk 15 minute walk, but there's a supermarket at the end of the street, and a few good restaurants nearby. I really recommend Pizzeria Napoli, less than 2 blocks from the hotel; food and service were great. Good location: walkable in one direction to the train station (googlemap it!) and in the other direction to the Arena! Decent, if minimal, room! Speaking of the Arena, it was way cooler than expected. I expect to return to Verona with spouse and/or children next time. Finally, there's a large Eurospar grocery en route to the Arena, where you can find cheap food. This was a pleasant surprise for a 2-star hotel. It was a modern building and the rooms seemed to be recently renovated. Rooms were smallish but very comfortable. Staff was super helpful with our requests as well. Breakfast was very good and the breakfast room was kept tidy by the host. Would definitely choose this hotel again. Great location, close to city center and railway station. Not a dislike, but a notice: the room is everything you need: clean and decent and with some electrical outlets (use the modern Euro adapter from the tv!), but it's otherwise pretty minimal. Also: Verona is pretty crowded with tourists, which was unexpected for me, but all those tourists support nice tourist amenities (restaurants, etc), so it's hard to complain. TV had over a hundred channels but not one in english (that I could find) : ). No shelf for soap and shampoo in the shower cabin, not very convenient. Everything else was great. No kettle. No refrigerator. Small shower with curtain that kept clinging to me - very irritating! Pillows like slabs of concrete - solution... stuff pillowcase with feather sleeping bag. Nothing. But having no rolls at 9 a.m. is a disaster. the staff are not really kind and helpful and the breakfast is poor.
