Yes, having read other reports we were plesantly surprised as it was better than others had suggested. Staff were helpful and nothing was too much trouble. It was right at the begining of season so maybe that helped but a throughly good experience. - beautiful interior, great location, very clean

We booked Albergo Bonvecchiati but were transferred to the sister Hotel 1 min away Palazzo Bonvecchiati. This Hotel is a 4 star but was a 5 star by our standards. The room was small but I was prepared for that after reading the reviews. We went just before easter and got a great price - I would not have paid the standard rate during peak season - too expensive and too many tourists. Overall, a brilliant holiday. The staff were most helpfull from the moment we arrived till the day we left. I would point out one member of staff, unfortunatly I dont have his name, he works on reception, very smart and I do know he is 19 year of age, management should keep an eye on him he will go far in the leisure industry - The hotel was fantastic, not only did they upgrade
