  This is an good hotel for a family. The hotel staff was excellent! They really went out of their way to accommodate us. We also enjoyed having a family room as these are hard to come by. The price was reasonable and the continental breakfast was great. The hotel is quiet with only 11 rooms and we were able to come and go as we pleased with lots of ... what people say » privacy.

  excellent site half way betwee San Marco and The Rialto. Wonderful staff very friendly and helpful. No lift but this was no big deal. Air conditioning was a boon. If you strike Mirelle,Lorenzo,Alexander and Andy you will expirence the A team. Thanks to all - we feel very comfotrtable

  We booked Albergo Bonvecchiati but were transferred to the sister Hotel 1 min away Palazzo Bonvecchiati. This Hotel is a 4 star but was a 5 star by our standards. The staff were the best we've ever met, the hotel is brand new and modern, so beautiful and very well located. Albergo Bonvecchiati is more antique looking and seems very nice as well but... what people say » we didn't get a chance to see it. Very pleased! - the hotel was central to everything! We loved the location and the big breakfast. The room was small but I was prepared for that after reading the reviews. We went just before easter and got a great price - I would not have paid the standard rate during peak season - too expensive and too many tourists. Overall, a brilliant holiday. Glad I picked the Albergo Bonvecchaiti.

With outside tables by a picturesque canal and with tables in an interior courtyard this hotel is our idea of a perfect place to stay in Venizia.   The staff were most helpfull from the moment we arrived till the day we left. I would point out one member of staff, unfortunatly I dont have his name, he works on reception, very smart and I do know he is 19 year of age, management should keep an eye on him he will go far in the leisure industry - The hotel was fantastic, not only did they upgrade... what people say » our room but they went out and bought us wading boots for our stay due to the King Tides, they supplied a free taxi ride to Murano Island (worth 30 euro!!) and they were continuously helpful no matter what the problem or question!

  The apartment is very nice and comfortable with perfect location. Mr.Hugo, the owner, is very helpful person. We liked very much this apartment and we were really very happy there. Everything was perfect. I have already recommended this accommodation to my friends.

  The hotel is just beautiful. It's a three hundred year old Palazzo that has been meticulously restored, with great attention to detail and luxury. Our room was quite outstanding - extremely " high tech" ( comment from our 21 year old who was very impressed!) combined with traditional, lavish furnishings - drapes, pelmets, wallpaper, furniture ; if... what people say » you are into design and interior decorating, this is the place! We felt very welcomed and " at home" in beautiful surroundings. The staff were incred - This hotel was our favorite from all of our hotels this trip. The location was perfect for walking everywhere and easy access from the water taxi at Rialto bridge....just remember to turn at the Disney store and you'll always find it! We did eat in the restaurant one night and it was very good. Our waiter was excellent and I'm pretty sure he is the only Italian waiter to have smiled at us our whole trip (no joke!) We also had a couples massage one evening. Though I would not say it is a "spa"
