Mr. Marco - owner of Venice garden hostel is very nice. I checked out late until 7:00 pm because Our train was 8:30 pm and he help me to print the train ticket, give the place for my baby enjoying without any charge. Location is very good for big luggages like me. You can take a bus from Santa Lucia station and stop in Crea station to come Venice Garden hostel. All guests stayed during sep 21 to sep 23,3013 were nice, too. I didn't worry any thing about my luggages while I was out. Excellent co.

I went Venecia last weekend and rest in this hostel for one night. But I had a problem with my fly and I had to stay Venecia for one more night, but Venice Garden was full. I was lost and desperate to find another place to sleep, and Marco, the host owner help me a lot. He contact personally with other hostals in order to find a place to sleep for me. Then he help me very kindly to find the place because Venecia is very easy to get lost. My exeprience there was excellent and I feel lucky to mee. Marco the owner was very kind and made a real effort to get to know everybody staying in the hostel. The hostel is very close to the train station. There were lockers with a lock provided to protect your belongings. In a lovely quiet area of the city so have a peace and quiet, good when it comes to night time. I will be back to stay again soon I hope. You get what you pay for. This is one of the cheapest hostels you'll find in Venice. You get a bed, a locker, wifi, and a shower with hot water. It was hot, but Venice is hot in the summer. The location is a little off the beaten path, but close to all public transit and also quiet at night. A friendly atmosphere. Noman, the caretaker of the hotel, is the a nice n polite guy. i never thought that miles away from India i would get opportunity to talk to in my lungage i.e. Hindi. But when I find him in talking Hindi I was sooo happy. He helped me to plan my trip for Rome and came along with St. Lucia railway station. First things which I liked was the location of the hotel which is in walking distance from railway station. Second, they provided separate lockers which I needed most. Third, It was neat and. The location was pretty good. It was about a 15 minute walk from the train station along the water. It took me a while to get used to this hostel as the ones I stayed in prior were a little more sophisticated with more than one bathroom and provided amenities like maps and small breakfast items. Very quiet place around, because a bit far from high loaded spots, but very close to train station (10 minutes walk). 2 minutes walk from the nearest vaporetto stop (Crea). Fresh condition, clean. The Internet was not working so good. neither owner nor care taker was there in the hotel when I reached hotel. It was 9.30 am. One guest opened the door and till 2 pm no dody was there to tell me which was my room and bed. Same thing happened with others who used to come before 2 pm when I opened the door for them. There was only one bathroom for about 15-20 people. One of the guys gave off a weird vibe. He would go into the rooms randomly. For what it was, it wasn't bad... Just don't expect too much. Single bath/toilet/shower room. If you don't want to wait you'd better get up early in the morning. Poor noise isolation in some rooms. Expensive, but like everything in Venice. 5 people in a little room - I mean, very little room. Anf for at least three those rooms - only one bathroom, with a toilet inside. Had to wait for it all the time it seemed to me... Too expensive, charged for linens, only one bathroom, too many people crammed into one apartment. 15ish people in one bathroom was tough, the blankets seemed dirty, noisy at times and slightly unorganized. The location (address) can not be found on google map. there isn't any place to eat or just to sit and talk. the only possibility is the terrace, but if it rains or it's cold, you don't want to sit outside. and if you sit in the room, it can be disturbing for other guests. Lockers not safe at all. Forget using them. Very basic. 5euro for towel and bed linen Owner charged our cards when we made the booking in April! Not just holding card details as we were told. Lots of mosquitos, and too hot to close windows No tourist info. Felt it wasn't worth the price. You have to pay an extra 5euro per pax for bedsheet cum towel. Also, there is only ONE toilet cum bathroom, which is to be shared among 20+ people. :(. This is not a hostel. It has no facilities at all. The manager came into my room several times when I was changing clothes. He owes me 1 euro change which he never gave. No place to store/eat food, one bathroom only, very unpleasant. The heat. There’s no AC and it was really hot. The door of the room couldn’t be locked. The kitchen was ridiculously small, there wasn’t even a possibility to sit down and eat. On the whole, a mistake. -Locker is provided but you need to buy own lock. -Need to pay additionally for bed sheet. -Does not accept credit cards. -Rooms are not cleaned every day. one bathroom for 20 people!noise and light in the night!. All. 1. The room is dirty and disgusting 2. they charge 3 euro city tax(which is very high comparatively) and 5 euro for no reason! 3. the staff attitude is way too rude. Anyway it's disgusting experience living here. i would never suggest any friends book here. More expensive but less equipments than other hostels. Only one bath room/toilet. Used toilet paper can not be flushed. No room key. There is only one bathroom. You get charged for something unexpected. The stuff are very rude and don´t make you feel good about it.
