En suite rooms are also available. A safety deposit box is available at reception, where the friendly staff can assist you with tourist and travel info. The bar is a great place to socialise over a few drinks.

Generator was a great place to stay in Venice. Even though it is on Giudecca, there is a vaporetto stop near the hostel and getting to St. Mark's Square is quick and easy. Staff were generally helpful and made a special effort to help us locate a lost piece of luggage at the airport. We stayed in a 4 bed with an en suite bathroom that was clean, spacious, and had a great view. The lobby was inviting and modern, and the breakfast is a good value. Certainly better than your average budget hostel.
all reviews » They helped me to charge my phone when my cable got broken. Very comfortable beds with lights that don't disturb others. Quite cheap, good breakfast for additional price. It was a half-populated 16 person dorm, but it was comfortable to stay there. It is on a separate island from the city center, but public transport is working all the night so it's not a problem. The location, the bar, the atmosphere in the common spaces, and the luggage storage being free were all great! Especially loved the ambiance in the common spaces, the the beautiful view from in front of the hostel. Beds and lockers were fantastic. It's tough to make a 16 person dorm a comfortable / somewhat private feeling experience, but they did it. I loved the rooms, the private rooms were spectacular with high tech bathrooms and excellent views. The bar was particularly fun with two for one drinks if you like the hostel on Facebook. . Everyone at the hostel gave each customer their individualized attention and went out of their way to address any need. Excellent hostel. We had booked ourselves a 14 bed dorm, however the staff at the reception allocated a three bedded room to us, which was good on our part. We were two girls and shared the room with another girl. Breakfast was good. The sitting area and the bar were really good and would suit young people more than families. The staff is friendly and briefly introduce the nearby attraction during check in! Provide free Venice Map which have very useful information on it! Room condition is nice. Individual power plug and light for each bed. Bathroom condition is ok. Wifi ok. Bed is comfort. Location is great and nice scenery. I liked everything.Specialy its location and staff. The place is good to start and finish city trip. It's connected with all of interesting city place. Moreover , it has a picturesque view and doesnot have hordes of tourists, that is rarity for Venecia.I would like to return. I love the seaside location. In early morning I checked out, I can see a fantastic view with a big ship, duomo & sunrise at one time! Unforgettable. Yes, you have to pay another 14 E for the return boat to Venice, but trust me, its totally worthed. The hostel is very clean, modern (good power outlets, nice carpet etc), good ac, with a grocery store very nearby. If you go make sure you go to the island of Lido and pack a swimming suit. There's a free beach about 10 min walk from the ferry stop. We loved our room, through our window we could see the city of Venice, the ships and boats passing by and the birds flying, fantastic view, we had pictures and videos of it. I wish I have a chance to go back there and enjoy the same experience. Generator is designed with antique as well as modern furniture (in the hall) and with conformable bad. Easy to reach the city (only 1 stop with vaporeto) There is a shop near, as well as a nice restaurant with the best pizza in Venice:). Clean and modern rooms. Had a lift and water bus stop was very close and easy to get to. The bar was fun and a good place to meet people. Had lockers under the beds and the bathrooms were clean and nice. This was a very clean and modern hostel. Staff was very helpful. Rooms were comfortable. Everything you need in the lounge area. I would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone. Very pleased. It's definitely one of the best hostels I've stayed in. Room was spacious. The plug and the little lamp at the bed side was considerate. Decoration was really nice. And I love the view. Quiet and safe. But you shall notice that this hotel is NOT in the main island of Venice, you need to take 10 mins to St. Marco plaza by water bus. Rooms with view of the canal is very nice. A cheap solution for your stay in Venice, easy to get to the main island. Modern design. There is only one common room and it is a bar by evening. Shower rooms are without locks. The luggage storage being accessible to anyone staying at the hostel, the food was not so great, and a little overpriced, the room rates were a little expensive. The internet was spotty at times but the staff quickly fixed that problem. The bathroom was shared and the showers were almost transparent. Stayed on second floor, quite noisy as some drunker keep shout and chit chat at the hotel entrance. (Window must be close to minimize the noise) Remember budget for a waterboat travel pass or ticket fares to go/leave the island. 7 Euro per trip. No restaurant is operate nearby the hostel during night time. Actually I didn't had something which I didin't like. That was just my unfortune, because in the night when I was stayed, there was a girls group right upstairs, and they all very noisy all night long. My god. I was tried so had to sleep, not only me but other ppl in my room. I mean, you share room with many other person in that hotel, you should be respect each other too. It's on a small island so factor in your budget for a 3 day pass (for vaporetto) around 34 euros or 40 for a 4 day. Every vaporreto (water bus) costs 7 euros 1 way except for special lido to st. Elena/1 other stop on the main island). If you are okay paying for the multipass its closer than many other small island locations to the main island of venice. That the hotel is on another island is a little bit of a discomfort and that we had to make our own beds but that was not a big deal. Towels were not included. But nothing major, I would stay here again for sure!. Only one thing, the shower room had a glass door, half transparent. And the door to the bathroom couldn't be locked. In a mixed dorm, this can be very inconvenient. It was away from the main part of Venice and the ferry rides are expensive. no one. breakfast wasn't great even if it was only 3.50 euros, can buy great cappuccino instead at the cafe next door for 1.30 euros!. The sounds from the bar is quite annoying during the "sleep time". It's a little bit far from the center. The only point is that it didn't stay in a great position, so you need to buy a day boat pass, it coast £20. Not located in the center In an another island. There was a boat required to get to the ostello. only one toilet+shower in dorm with more than 10 beds. nothing really. They had a prived party the day. So the night time was very noisy. The breakfast options is very limited though it's cheap. Some staff was very random and not so welcoming, maybe because it is a family business. Rooms could be cleaner.
