I thought this was the best value for my trip of my entire 2wk stay in Italy. We went in the off season and that probably helped. The location was good, close to the train station and a vaporetto stop. The staff was super helpful too. very comfortable, well situated, very nice people. The location, the staff, the cleanliness and comfort. Excellent value for money!. It allowed me to stay in Venice itself, but without paying the very high hotel rates often found there. The hotel, while not 5 star, was perfectly adequate. The staff were helpful, and the facilities provided what we needed--a place to sleep, and a very nice breakfast. The location was a fairly easy walk from the main car parking facility so we did not need to mess with water transportation.all reviews »
The front of house staff were incredibly helpful. Venice is an easyplace to get lost but this hotel is close to the train and bus stationand is easy to find. It is perfectly positioned close to the centre of Venice, walking distance to the train station and Venice's public transport. The staff were wonderful.Excellent location; within walking distance of all major attractions. Breakfast is good. Staff Polite and Helpful, location superb. Room was a little date but very large and very clean. The outer door of the annex was unlocked most of the time, meaning there was little security in the building. not very near Water bus station. No air condition. There was quite a strong smell in the room.Poor sound insulation. You hear everything from the rooms next to you. Need some repair and maintenance. Room was very old, bathroom dramatic, bed was poor quality and breakfastwas ridiculously little in amount of what you get. Being told has to go to another hotle when we arrive at 10 pm. Terrible conditions in the replace one. 4 beds in one rooms where we booked twin bed room. reception refused to check-in one room only where could easily sleep 4 people. Arrived late so no more choices. No discount either and told us 250euro per night is the normal price which is the same rate of a 4 star hotel opposite street.
