We really enjoyed our long weekend at de l'Alboro. Great location as we were close to the vaporetti stops, not far from San Marco and not at all noisy. The staff were very helpful and gave our young children little gifts (and hot chocolate!). The breakfast buffet had a good choice and we felt very welcome. It is not a luxurious hotel but was clean and had everything we needed. We will recommend it to our friends and stay there again on our next trip to Venice!.
all reviews » Very friendly! They make you feel number 1 as a guest! Little cute breakfastroom but everything you need is there. The hotel is absolutely central in Venezia, San Marco and Rialto are really near, Lido in 20 Minutes by Boat. Next boatstation (Sant' Angelo) is about a minute away. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is right next to a water bus stop so very easy to get there. Most of Venice attractions are a walking distance from the hotel. The hotel serves a nice breakfast and excellent coffee. Definite value for money. Close to the water bus stop & within walking distance (about 10 mins) to St. Mark's Square. All staff are extremely friendly & helpful providing you with a comfortable stay & experience... Staff was great from reception to breakfast service. Hotel was what I expected an old Venetian hotel to be. Very comfortable , clean, decent breakfast included. No shower curtain or a place to attach the shower to the wall. No remarks. They was very bad internet, I can't access from my room, I need to go down and sometimes not working. Need to be improved. Small Reception and resturant. No sound proofing between room and corridor. Mosquitoes. WiFi only for one device!. Just a little outdated in the decor, but it's an ancient building. The bathroom was nice and modern. No shower curtain Only hand held shower No heating Poor breakfast.
