We were a family of 4 and booked the 1 bedroom apartment.The kids slept on a comfortable fold out bed. Pier guided us to the apartment for which we are so thankful as we would never have found it otherwise. He gave invaluable information on how to buy Vapporetto tickets, which Vapporetto lines to use, location of supermarkets and shopping for genuine Venetian products. Thank you so much as the information was very helpful. Location is 15 minutes walk from the railway station. Lovely bathroom. A.
all reviews » The apartment was in a good location, only being about 500 meters to the grand canal at the San Silvestro stop in S. Polo. It was situated between Campo Aponal and a grocery store at the other end of the alley. It was neat and clean with air conditioning that worked great. It was had ample supplies for the kitchen and bathroom. I highly recommend staying there. 1.Location: very convenient location, just 5-10 minutes walk to Railto Bridge. 2.Apartment: it is well prepared and well equipped, especially the kitchen. Also, it is so convenience to have the wifi device. We can use wifi in Venice just bringing it along with me. 3.Pier: he is so nice and friendly. He brought us to the apartment from train station. The apartment is very clean and roomy, with bedroom, same size kitchen, and the living room is two times of bedroom. Other details are very friendly. The location is by San polo square, which is not far to San macro square. The staff is very friendly and contact me through email in advance. This is a place worth to recommend. Great service from the staff who meet us. (The best Apartment renting experience I ever had). They took care of us even when we locked ourselfs out of the Apartment! Nice location right in two steps of San Polo cathedral, 10 minutes walk to Rialto and 20 minutes walk to Piazzale Roma. Large living room, huge plasma :) if you have time for it. In introduction, it is said the apartments are located indifferent locations. So when you book the hotel, you do not exactly know where you gonna stay. So remember to contact the staff and they would give you direction or bring you to the place. Initially they were missing instructions in English for the dishwasher and washing machines. The staff resolved these issue very quickly. Just one toilet. letsbookhotel.com didnt clearly mention the late checkin charges and the cleaning fee'S. 2G mobile & plumbing. There is no lift in the building and some bridges to cross so one needs to be fit enough to carry luggage up a couple of flights of stairs and across the canal bridges. Mattress is a bit soft. Quite alot of Mosquitos since there was a garden outside. We were there for only a few days but if it had been a longer trip there was limited space for clothes. Nothing!. Flight of stairs difficult if you have heavy luggage and a few mosquito's in warmer weather. The broadband was very slow as it was a wireless mobile internet connection not wired. Emails and browsing were OK but Skype calls wouldn't work. everything is the apartment is very new which is great but the rooms seem bare especially in the living room. However, I think if they added add'l furniture like coffee table another chair or love seat it would really make a difference. Also, in the bedrooms spend a bit more on the bedspreads so that when you walk into the bedrooms you feel more at home. Wifi was very spotty or not at all in our apartment. Low door, no air conditioning, noisy seagulls. Door to bathroom jammed on floor. Ran out of coffee pods; No instructions for washing machine. It'll be great if there're 2 double beds. no complaints excellent. The beds were not very comfortable. Water for shower, basin and sink was not very hot. We booked a "deluxe" apartment in Canareggio, but the actual apartment did not reflect the photographs shown on letsbookhotel.com's website. We wondered if we did not actually get the "de-luxe" apartment??. Our apartment was definitely not cool... Quite dated actually. The quality of the towels was poor. The kitchen needs a kettle for boiling water for tea and a toaster for breakfast. Lack of hot water in the kitchen and bathroom sink. A little overpriced but it was central Venice and high season. It was hard to find . Suggest someone can pick us up somewhere in main road.
