Fausto, our host was fabulous. He speaks 4 or 5 languages fluently, is
very kind, patient, generous and helpful. We were able to get last
minute tickets through him to hear Vivaldi at one of the churches
nearby. The location is fantastic, a five minute walk from the
"Osbedale Vaporetto stop", which is serviced by the fast and
slow boats around the Lagoon, as well as the airport water boat, which
takes @ 35-40 minutes. The # 4.2 Vaporetto leaves to cruise the
islands in the Lagoon directly from . all reviews »
1. The staff. Nice and friendly. Although not all can speak good English, but they try their best to help. Quick response to my emails. They provided directions to the centre.
2. The breakfast. Not much choices (2 rolls, jam, butter, cheese, 1 croissant, tea/coffee/hot chocolate) but it was OK and quick. The table setting is lovely though.
3. The location. 3 min from Ospedale vaperetto stop on foot. (Not very difficult if you have heavy baggage like us as there is no bridge or stairs). COOP sup.
The location was easy to get to, just a short walk from the ospedale water taxi drop off. It was quiet in the evenings, but plenty of places to see, shop and eat, all within walking distance. Everything was close by using the water taxi. €50 for 7 days and as often as you needed during each day. The restaurants in the area were friendly and the food was excellent. I would definitely recommend the Alloggi Barbarian and the Costello area. The staff were extremely helpful and accomodating. .
The staff went above and beyond to help make our trip great! The vaporetto location was great and it was nice to have access to really great food in a less crowded area!! We also avoided major floods by not staying closer to st marks. Fausto was very helpful and recommended great food places!!.
Friendly & helpful staff.
Big, clean room with fridge, TV, air con, safe & view onto gardens.
Balcony breakfast area.
Quiet location, convenient for waterbus Ospedale stop.
Location (15 minutes to centre), quick and good email responses with owner, sufficient breakfast, large rooms,COOP supermarket nearby.
Exceptionally friendly staff who were very helpful with advice and suggestions. Very addictive breakfast coffee.
Friendly and helpful staff who organised tickets to a Vivaldi Concert and a show for us. We enjoyed our stay.
Easy to find, vaporetto accessible, staff was super friendly and helpfuk.
It was very clean.
Adequate size room ;comfortable beds.
We wished for face cloths, like all Americans to enjoy the very nice
shower with lots of hot water!.
1. The room has no rugs so it gets really cold when we walked on it (we were barefooted in the room).
everything was excellent.
Shower too small for comfort.
It was difficult to find it if you travel to venice for first
time.so,there should be informations how to find the hotel.
Far from city center long vapors to ride ;not conveniently located Shower was the size of a telephone booth We were served our small breakfast and could not choose our own food.
