This is an amazing boutique hotel in a fabulous location. We received excellent directions from Marco on how to get from the train station. From the moment we arrived we felt very special. I had requested a room with a bath and we were delighted with the fact that we got one! The room was gorgeous, very spacious with a large courtyard garden, comfy bed, simple but vey tasteful decor. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend this hotel.
all reviews » Hotel is situated in fantastic location. Just few minutes walk from the tram stop and behind the main street where one can find shops and restaurants. It is difficult to find the hotel so it is easier to turn right just after the Lush (shop with soaps) before the bridge, then turn right again and left and you will see the gate on your right hand side. The room was very tidy, space was enough for both of us. I recomend this hotel. We had a room on the canal side and slept with the windows open so we could hear the boats go by. Our room was clean and the staff was extremely helpful and accomodating. The hotel was conveniently located Off the beaten path yet a quick walk away from all of the festivities. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Lovely location in a slightly quieter area, and it was really easy to get to the outlaying island and the inner city of venice. The first night, there was a problem with the electricity in our room, so they upgraded us to a suite with a beautiful canal view. The location, once I found it the first time, was ideal. Steps from Ca D'oro water bus stop which helps not get lost on the winding streets of Venice. Loved my view from the large windows right onto the canal. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was nice, but it was disappointing to not have the canal right there. Walls are thin, and sound carries from breakfast which was just outside my room. They did not refresh my soaps, water, or cups. The breakfast area was a bit cramped, too small at busy times. there was no hot water in the pipelines... It was a little hard to find the little street that takes you to the hotel. Small Bathroom, Air-conditioner (which made the upper floor over-heated). The hotel is hard to find up a very narrow alley. 1. At the evening there was no one at the reception, 2. our room looked at the entrance, so we could not open the window and we couldn't enjoy natural light even though the weather was great. Security could be better. Wifi did not work as expected in the rooms. The small fridge has a glass door and the light remained on when closed and we needed to cover it to hide the light. Poor drainage in the bath/shower and therefore pooled with water when showering. Limited breakfast selection for the cost. Rooms we got were rather small and had very small windows or only a small window in the roof. No view. There are other rooms with much better sizes and views. This didn't annoy us much because we were only in the rooms to sleep and we were happy to get these rooms as late-bookers during the Bienale. Staff only there few hours a day, difficult to get additional duvet after 6pm! Breakfast small for the price. Details are not taken care of, which is a pity as the hotel is really nice. Hard to find. No WiFi at the hotel. The front desk was only open for very limited hours. The temperature in the room was really hard to control (either way too hot or way too cold). The bed was uncomfortable. Without breakfast, room without window, without minibar, small bathroom, not 24 hour reception. Ugly design, noisy HVAC. 4 times overpriced. A very small number. There is no window, no balcony (in the description of the Booking is). No free Wi-Fi (in the description of the - in some rooms). There is no Breakfast.
