  Perfect location, near sea and in the very center of old part of the town. Very helpful staff, they let us enter the room before 9:00 am on the first day and kept our luggage until 8:00 pm on the last day. Our room was on the first floor and had excellent Internet signal, while our friend on the 3rd floor had poor signal but still strong enough to... what people say » check e-mail and use Skype chat. Reception is closed after 8:00 pm but they gave us special magnetic cards so we could open the front door when ever - Good managment...Top location in city center near supermarket , internet parlour , very cosy and antique charm with beautifull art on the walls befitting of a museum , all the mods with old world charm...good value for money.

  The location seems to be its strongest point as it is close to the bus and train stations (about a ten minute casual walk). It is also near the main sights and very close to the Grand Canal where you can dine at local restaurants for a very reasonable 20 euro or so. The staff are tremendously helpful, all you need to do is to ask them for - Staff were very friendly and helpful, I did not arrive in Trieste until midnight as was delayed en route - despite the inconvenience to them they stayed open for me to check in. Breakfast was excellent, a good choice of breads, savouries and tea/coffee. Great location, only minutes from centre and train station, hotel is on very quiet road.   Our host was very friendly, a true Italian, who also was helpful giving us information how to reach the places we needed. Air-conditioners in every room, TV with Italian channels.   Nedelko (Reception staff member) was smiling, funny & helpful - he helped us learn a few Italian words & answered our lame tourist questions! Rooms are spacious & double glazed windows help shut out traffic noise. Tip - ask for a room on the first floor as there is no elevator. I would stay here again if I was fortunate enough to visit... what people say » Trieste again. - Very kind staff! Always friendly and helpful! The city center isn't far away. A street full of bars and ice cream shops is just around the corner. Go there and have a real Italian breakfast!! (There's none served in the hotel)
