The very friendly and helpful staff. For travellers with a car (free parking), the location is great - one gets easily into Bergamo. From Maxim to the centre of Milano it is just 30 minutes. There are also many other nice cities and destinations around Bergamo. Compared to hotels in the same price category, the breakfast is great! The wireless internet is very reasonably priced, too. The staff were efficient and friendly. We received exactly the room andservices we were expecting. Extremely convenient location forBergamo/Orio al Serio Airport. I would recommend Hotel Maximunreservedly.
all reviews » We found the Hotel ideal, a 15 min. walk to the Village to catch the bus into town was fine, its a nice residential area, not touristy at all. Hotel is quite far from airport.The hot water did not work well in our room, but I don't think this was a common problem, just a small issue. Because of ongoing road works all around the area, we had a lot of difficulty finding the hotel. No tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Hard to get there if you don`t have a car.internet must be free. The directions to the hotel must be changed on the website due to the construction on Via Dalmine. The main intersection which the hotel is on is closed, and the only way to get East of Via Dalmine is to travel either several kilometers North or South, and then find you way back through a web of sometimes unmarked side streets.Breakfast. It was hard to find.It's really too far from the centre for those arriving on Ryanair very late at night. Public transport to the suburbs of Bergamo (in this case Treviolo)stops in mid-evening, so expensive taxis are unavoidable. the coffee at the breakfast buffet was really not good. busy road in front. Difficult to find from the airport at night.Lack of any facilities other than small bar located in reception area. Quite difficult to find - need a good map as hotel is not actually in Treviolo. Coming form mIlan the road works make the final approach slow.
