  My daughter and I had an incredible, relaxing time at Villa Pane. Last year I stayed in a hotel in Sorrento but this was much much better. We had a large, clean room with terrace and an amazing view of the Bay but the best thing was the hospitality of the family and the staff. I can also really recommend dinner in the evening. We also took - Villa Pane felt like home! Gianluigi and Ana Maria were so welcoming. Their villa is beautiful surrounded by the hills of Sorrento with lemon, fig, olive, orange trees everywhere. The walk to town is stunning, although Gianluigi is always ready to shuttle guests to and from the villa. Another fabulous bonus is the food served!   I thought i was going to walk to the hotel, so I was pulling my suitcase up the hill, when Gianluigi, the owner came by a scooter and asked me, why i have not called him, so he could pick me up. This gave me a very positive first impression, that became even better, as we rose high on the hillside, and the view opened up.   The staff were very helpful, our cases were lost and the staff went out of there way to help get them back for us, we had nothing with us and they provided us with toiletries and phones till case arrived. we were only there for 2 days for A wedding and they sorted evereything out for us. would really reccomend Casa Dominova. - friendly and helpful... what people say » staff

  Maison Tofani is the best kept secret in Sorrento. The staff were exceptional, especially Giovanni who collected our hire car on the morning we were leaving as the garage did not open until after we wanted to leave. Giovanni - We stayed 6 nights in Maison Tofani which is a great little hotel in the historical centre of Sorrento, decorated in the best Italian style. We had a large room with a big bed, a sofa and armchairs, a bathroom with shower - and free wifi! The room overlooked the narrow shopping street. We had a small table and two chairs on the minute balcony where we could watch the world go by. The windows were well insulated as we weren't disturbed by noise.   Staff was very friendly, especially Massimiliano. We arrived on the wrong day and reception was closed, he came from his restaurant and helped us out. Called our hotel in Praiano to confirm that we still have a booking and escorted us personally to the train station. Great location- right in the middle of the city. Bars, shopping, and restaurants... what people say » , right at your doorstep. We stayed in a three bedroom room. Very spacious. Bathroom was MASSIVE with a huge jacuzzi. Great Wifi reception. Make sure - -the staffs are great, they will help you as much as they can and sincere. They work hard -The rooms are big, clean and excellent -The bathroom is clean -No lift, only stairs. They will help to take our luggage by luggage lift, but if you have problem with your health to take stairs, you have to consider this or you can ask for the room downstair -The internet line not strong enough if you use it in the room
