Originally a winery, Agriturismo dei Grippi produces over 10 different wines including Custoza and Valpolicella. It features a summer pool near the vineyards and is only 10 minutes' drive from Sona.
This historic farmhouse now offers a choice of rooms and studios, all with air conditioning and rustic décor. The studios also have a kitchenette.
Local cold meats and homemade produce are served in the breakfast room each morning overlooking the swimming pool and vineyards. You can relax under the gazebo in the garden or take a tour of the wine cellars complete with wine tasting.

The location in the country and among the vineyards is great, yet close to Verona and Lago do Garda. We went with family and friends to visit Gardaland, Verona and Venezia for a weekend and it was almost last minute booking, yet we were happy with accomodation, location and prices. The farmer's house looks very generic, very clean and very friendly staff. Very relaxing after the tumour of the city. all reviews »
This is a perfect location to be if you want to visit lake Garda but keep enjoy the countryside being in the center of vineyard fields

The place is indeed nice e very clean, the overall atmosphere relaxing
and the staff is friendly and available. Great if you are having a car
trip to stop one/two nights and look for great restaurants around,
maybe also visiting Verona and/or the lake. The swimming pool is
nice and the view is great.

This hotel and staff are simply wonderful.
Had some trouble finding it as there's a mistake in GPS coordinates. Thus, the PS finds the street, but not the number.

We took a superior room. Out of some decorations (honestly very naive),
we were a bit let down to find out that the breakfast room was just
upstairs and at early morning we were waken up by the noises coming from
there. In an Agriturismo we would have expected a bit more
"peace". The time for check out especially is rather affecting
(10am), but you can ask to stay till 12. We did and the hotel accepted
without problems.
Pool was open to the community, did not know this in advance. Not very private. Did not promote their own wines at all. Staff more interested in pool guests than hotel activities/guests.
Breakfast was a little bit disappointing, not very much variety.
