Everything was perfect. Great accommodation (even the extra bed was great, not just pull-out couch that you normally see). Very good breakfast with quality products. Restaurant was also great, 4* quality with 2* prices. Private parking, AC that works all day even if you are not in the room , fridge and even an ergonomic pillow !! I would recommend this hotel to everyone. Solferino may be cca 15km from the lake, but road to every destination is free of traffic and you actually get everywhere eve.
all reviews » The place is like a dream. The location of the hotel (city center of a lovely old town) is just great, the view from the restaurant very romantic. The rooms are very comfortable/big. The personnel unusual friendly and helpful. 15 minutes drive to the Garda lake, good pizzeria in Solferino. Close to very good aqua park and Garda Land. We stayed here for 3 nights, easy access to lake Garda and Verona but located in small town in countryside. Very clean, spacious rooms, air con etc. Very reasonably priced, good regional food served in the restaurant. The staff were delightful, nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel very welcome!. This is one of this place you don't forget, la Dolce Vita in Italy, small village with unbelievable restaurants around the place also don't miss the wine. Never the less also the price vs quality is outstanding, and the service is made with lot of attention. for me this is a place to recommend and to see. We had to book this hotel on the day because our other accommodation was cancelled. We knew nothing about Solferino and it was a delightful surprise. This hotel was great, with secure parking, aircon, great breakfast (and available from 7:30am), flywire, comfortable bed. Near Garda Lake, but still original italian country town. Completely different than cities placed directley on the lake, away from all hectic rush. Small quite place with great history and nice small restaurants. The wifi was only available in public areas and not in the rooms, and the signal wasn't always strong enough. Nothing. No dislikes. Staff only speak little, but sufficient, English.
