Use of laptop computer provided in suite with 2 hours free internet use. Very friendly and helpful staff. Suite was exceptionally clean with daily cleaning and fresh towels. Great value and very convenient location. I would definitely recommend to friends, and was probably the best place we stayed at in Sicily in that price range.

It was right in the old center, the hotel was very pleasant, clean, staff extremely friendly and helpful, the room was spacious, clean and romantic.central location, big appartement, nice people. Excellent location for visiting Ortygia.Good sized room which was supplied with a laptop computer - very much appreciated. Very helpful staff who new the area well. Bathroom small but very good shower.Excellent service. Such a warm welcome! I'm glad we chose Aretusa over other good alternatives as its location was perfect, in the real heart of Ortigia with initimate bars, restaurants, wine/ grocery shop and duomo square very close by. Whilst no balcony in our room, the roof terrace for breakfast and afternoon glass of wine was excellent. Apartment homely, bathroom good and kitchen adequate to prepare simple meals. (1) Tiny, cramped entryway makes it hard to bring luggage in (2) At 3am, the electricity went out. Very bright flourescent "emergency" lights flooded our room. The lights had no "off" switches so we couldn't go back to sleep for 30 mins. We could not find any staff to address the problem. (3) You can hear your upstairs neighbors very loudly. (4) Rotten fruit and two worms in my fruit salad.

Exit the Airport and turn right to join the road SS 114, direction to Siracusa.When you are near Siracusa follow the sign where only “Siracusa” is written (it is the last exit to reach Siracusa). After about 4 Km, you will reach a junction, turn left and follow “Viale Paolo Orsi”. At the end of the street – Erg petrol station on the right- turn right and follow “Corso Gelone” until the end. Continue in “Via Catania” and reach “Piazzale Marconi”, in the square turn left (Banca Intesa on the right side) and follow “Via Malta”. Pass the bridge and turn right, follow “Via dei Mille”, at the end turn left. Pass under the ancient door of the town “Porta Marina” and go straight on till “Fonte Aretusa”. From here you can find the sings to reach Aretusa Vacanze .
