  This is a delightful property. It s an old water mill that has been lovingly and tastefully restored and is now a superb boutique hotel on the banks of the river very close to Florence.   We agree with other guests: the staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a god idea to stay outside Florence - it was less hot and the view over the city was stunning. The rooms were big and beautifully decorated. Beds were good and the bathrooms extremely clean and nice. Bustransportation into Florence was easy and cheap and the buses left fre... what people say » quently. The best thing with Fiesole was the view over Florence and the fresh air. Also the restaurant Terrazze 45 was superb with it's terrasse. - All excellent. The owners are very friendly and will go out of their way to help you. The location is fantastic right in the centre of town. Fiesole is a lovely town and only 20 min bus ride into Florence. If we ever visit this region again we would definitely stay at Casa Sofia.
