Once we got to the hotel, the owner Denise was there to welcome us personally with her frien - This exquisitely renovated castle provides every luxury and is a great base for exploring the beautiful Barolo wine country. Nonetheless, the high point for us was the food. Chef (and owner) Denise Pardini, whose resume includes at stint at Chez Panisse, has figureed out how to brighten traditional Piedmontese cuisine for the modern palette. Everything was delicious. Even the breakfast was a knockout. My short vacation at Hotel Castello di Sinio inspired me to make my own house more castle-like

  Very nice, small hotel situated on a hill with a very nice view over the Langhe region. Accomodation is good, rooms with central floor heating and also the food is delicious. Nice owner couple, very friendly. They make their own wines and make u taste the different varieties. It was good value if you like rustic. Their wines were outstanding.
