An excellent experience! The hosts Carmela and Ivan were the most helpful and friendly ones I have ever met. They try to arrange everything to the guests comfort, and even picked me up at the bus station. The accommodation is wonderful, set in a old farmhouse. The rooms are simple, but very clean and comfortable, and a good size. Only 5 minutes by car to San Gimignano in quiet idyllic place to hang on terrace in the evening. There is a swimming pool to refresh. Too bad that i can stay for only one day and miss the dinner. Highly recommended. For ever visitors: please enter GPS coordinates, as none of them cannot locate this street and it is not so easy to find. For sure i will be back in next visit in tuscany. This was a fantastic destination in the hills 3km from San Gimingano. Staff were excellent as they were the owners. Nothing was too much trouble. Everything served for breakfast and for evening meal was made on site or locally sourced. When I say local I mean within 1km. Spectacular view over Tuscany landscape and view of San Giminagno. Woke up with a headache every morning !. Shower. Not sure about an aircondition in a eco-friendly room. Im allergic to cats, and they had one ti which I reacted horribly, that was the obly complain (and it is not their fault). Lastig te vinden. Adres kwam niet voor in navigatiesysteem. Kamer waar wij verbleven was erg sober ingericht en vrij donker. Het slechte weer zal daar niet aan meegeholpen hebben. Badkamer was wel erg gedateerd. We misten een zitje en een koelkastje. Not easy to find. Our room was pretty dark and sober furnished. The bad weather didn't help with this either. Bathroom was pretty old and need some attention. We missed a couple of chairs and maybe a small fridge. No hot water and low pressure Over charged for dinner. Bathrom was very small, room lights nearly non existant.
