Check in was easy and smooth, it was nice to receive an email from the owner asking about our arrival timings to be available and welcome us by himself. Location was very close to Underground, nice coffee shops and restaurants in the area, also a big supermarket and careffour express to shop. Kitchen has nice facilities, microwave, kettle and fridge, also breakfast is left all day so we could have cakes and drink coffee or tea all the time. Elevators was a bit small but working fine. all reviews » The owner/manager is very friendly and ready to satisfy your requests. For example he can make you check in after 20.30 in case you need it. Rooms are modern and they are well cleaned every day. Breakfast is included and not bad: you get espresso coffee, sweets and snacks. There is also milk and a fridge shared with other customers: you can put there food and beverage if you want. The position is good, expecially if you arrive from the airport. The metro is quite close and also bus station. Goo. This is a lovely hotel, great value for money. Mauro and Guilio on reception were so helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble, they gave us great advice on how to find places using public transport, they even helped us find out how to buy tickets for the football match at the Olympic Stadium. Everywhere in Rome is easily accessible from the hotel, the metro stop is just around the corner and the bus stop is right outside. The hotel is impeccably clean, the bed very comfotable, the bat. The owner, Mauro, is the most kindest/helpful person I ever seen. He's definitely a special person. We had some extra requirements regarding our luggage and he found the best solution to fit our needs. He trusted in us to leave the keys to the basement without any guarantee. Other owners could learn from him how to respect and make customers to feel GREAT. He really understand and most important fulfill every customer expectation. Like other reviewers said, I felt like I had my own studio in Ro. The owner is a great person very kind and helpful, he arranged us a pick-up- service from and to the airport. The beds are really comfortable and clean. The location is great if you plan to visit the Vatican City. If you are interested to go more to the City Center or the Colosseo It is a bit far, however, the metro Station is really close and there is a bus stop just in front of the B&B. The food and dinnerware for the breakfast is available at a small kitchen and the coffee pods are in th. The room had a balcony, so we had breakfast outside every day, which was nice. Aurelia 429 is an excellent place to stay at a reasonable price when visiting Rome. It is only a short distance by Metro to Vatican City by Metro which is about 100 metres from the hotel. The 46 bus leaves from right outside the door and takes yo directly to the Colesseum and Forum. The rooms are modern and very clean and tidy. Best of all the host, Mauro, is friendly, helpful, obliging and gives you all the information about visiting Rome you could need. A great place o stay. The staff are extremly friendly and helpful. The residence is held on the fifth floor if a building and sometimes the elevator is out of order. Also it is between two major roads of the area (Baldo degli Ubaldi and Aurelia) with heavy traffic all day, so a bit noisy. Breakfast food was mediocre but there was a patisserie close by where we picked up 2 pastries and 2 cappuccinos for 3 euros. While the metro was close, the location is not really central so we did not feel inclined to make more than one trip into the city, staying close to the hotel at night. A little difficult to find. Small sign on side of building. No reception and don't turn up until 3pm. You can hear other guests, who can be noisy (the walls between rooms are somewhat thin, and the doors could be thicker). 1) the sheets and towels were not changed even once within a week; 2) plumbing flooded the bathroom attempting to use it; 3) other visitors is stealing your food from shared refrigerator; 4) very poor breakfast - muffins and coffee. My single room was a bit small. Shower cannot keep hot water very well. Soap keeper was rusty. But on the whole I liked the place and I think I will be back. Hardly to see people in reception. Usually only in the morning owner come but you can ask question with emails. Nothing. For future guests: It's not this way - 'dislike', but settle the question on cash/card payment before arriving in Italy. Cash-out may grieve you due to the currency rate. Only few options for restaurants around the hotel. breakfast is poor. Loud overnight with people walking above etc. Kitchen had everything but quite compact. shower was too small no where to put soap or hang things. Shower a bit too small. The breakfast was awful, stale rolls, only a little fruit that was past its best. The floor was dirty when we took our bags we had dirt and dust all over them, it's a 15 min metro to anywhere you need to go which was fine. Breakfast was poor, only had cakes and packet croissants. They charge €5 per day for air conditioning but wouldn't let us leave it on so we had to come back to a hot room. They left a note telling us to keep it off, it was 42 degrees. You can hear the other people from the other room. :(. More room in an apartment, shared kitchen, noise from other rooms, wi-fi is available in the lobby not in the room, some rooms have a shared bathroom in the hallway. When I arrived at the hotel, I was taken to the other B&B. It was "Amari 38". I didn't imagine that. So the place got a little bit far from my friend's house. If I couldn't stay here, stuff should have told me so in advance (Before I arreived here). Room was cold and the bathroom was'nt inside of the room.
