Excellent support staff at the booking office. Great location slap bang in the middle of town although they do have a number of apartments throughout Riomaggiore so take this with a pinch of salt. Only stayed one night but would be suitable for a longer stay. Easy check in, friendly staff, great locations; we had cleaning both days we were there, which we did not expect. Very spacious, linens were all provided. Dishes available in the kitchen, which had a small balcony off of it.

Other than the water issue (which really wasnt too big of a deal), the place was wonderful!. Location was amazing. Our apartment had views of the sea so we were very lucky. Great spot, clean towels each day which was appreciated. Easy, hassle-free stay. Good position - not many steps to street! good size bathroom. Suit two people to young family stays. It is closed to the beach and train station. Close to the marina. One window faces the main road in Riomaggiore, but the hotel I stayed in was off to the side, which gave us some privacy. The location was ideal - right in the heart of Riomaggiore. Convenient to shops, restaurants, hiking paths, beaches, marina, and the train. This apartment was right on the main street so it was easy to go shopping or get a bite to eat. excellent sight, wonderful village and this apartment has wonderful balcony.. Location, functional apartment, close to everything. Excellent location..helpful staff..beautiful town. The apt was light and nicely furnished, clean. Nice location, price is ok. good location and stuff. What it advertised. We've rented two apartments for three couples. One of that (#51) was wonderfull, clean and good furnitured but another one (ANNA) wasn't clean and comfortable enough. I have to say that location of both aparts is very good, on the main street via Colombo, food store COOP is near and you even can buy fresh seafood in a morning go down the street))) If you are going to trek through 5 terre willages by footpath you have to check if it works. We've found that trail from Monterosso to Viareggo is. I've been to Riomaggiore before and had also rented an apartment. This time we only stayed one night. Too short. I would imagine that it would depend on which apartment you received. Ours was right on the main street of Columbo, and only a few steps up. So that was good. complete kitchenette clean friendly lady close to coop supermarket. room was amazing. Nice apartment. the place. the staff attention. Nothing, although like everywhere in Cinque Terre it was expensive. Shower temperature was inconsistent. There was a paper in the room that said that breakfast was from 8-10, but we were told that apartments didn't get breakfast. This was not a problem, as we thought that when we booked, but it was confusing. Decor dated but never spending much time there anyway!. There was no wifi. There are many random penalties of which they don't explicitly inform you. The only reason I knew was that I happened to read a sheet hung on the door. Because it was in the heart of it all, there is considerable noise in the evenings, with diners and night-life just below. This could be a problem for vacationers with younger children trying to sleep earlier in the night. I wished I had Internet access in the room. The Cinque Terre trail that we intended to hike was cloed. This was a big disappointment. Check to see if the trail is open at riomaggiore or plan to take a ferry to monte rosa to hike or swim. There were a lot of dark stairs-but all the town is on a hill, so there are stairs everywhere. Some problem with the shower, the water is fludding easily. the hot water need wait a lot of times...really not convenient... The door to the apt did not seem secure enough, flimsy. One of our apartments (ANNA) wasn't clean and good enough. The owners spent a lot of money on good windows, which was great since we were there when there was cold weather. However, a lot was lacking. Last time I stayed in Riomaggiore our apartment came with small amenities such as tea bags etc...Nothing here but a little coffee. a bit tricky to find location : up hike from train station no lift expensive no wifi. no internet. They billed me for two nights even though they gave me a receipt for only one night's charge. The staff guy was hardly friendly. lack of planification: hot water didn'T work !! decoration. Poorly equipped kitchen... Very noisy tho not ofcourse the fault of owners..the appt is just above a cafe and the Main Street and the noise went on all night. If coming by train...do not walk all the way with bags to the office if more than one of you as the appt is halfway up the hill so we lugged everything to office only to have to go back down. The staff /owners we met were uninterested in any sort of helpful service. Maybe it's the end of the season.
