  We stayed in a bungalow for 3 nights a couple of weeks ago and arrived on a Saturday night. For starters, this place is about an hour by bus from Florence, in the countryside (which is stunning!). The bus ride into the countryside is fantastic! Staff were always great, informative and friendly.   We loved that it was on the beach, my kids really like the fact that our room had two floors which made playing hide and go seek so much more fun. After living in Europe for a year we have missed air conditioning, it was very nice to be able to use it again.   Comfortable, clean apartment with views and easy beach access. An excellent location to explore Tuscany by car, and a great value when staying a week or more. Stocked up with supplies at the Fonti del Corallo shopping centre in Livorno. Dishes, cutlery, towels and bedding were provided. The staff were welcoming, helpful and could speak English. - ... what people say » We were made welcome by the reception staff from the time we arrived. They were very helpful and friendly throughout our stay. In addition the bar/ swimming pool staff were also very friendly. We had a very relaxing and happy stay at Solidago. Thanks to everyone there.

  Le Sodole was a fabulous relaxing resort for me and my wife. It was nice to come away from the hussle and bustle of the towns to a peaceful hotel set in beautiful grounds. The staff were excellent in catering to our needs and making us feel welcome during our stay. The owner is very good with his guests and introducing them to Italian wines. One e... what people say » vening he sat and did a free wine tasting with us with nibbles and explained about the different wines he produces on his vineyards. On another evenin - Loved this hotel resort, was in a beautiful area close to autoroute and Pisa and Florence . The staff were very friendly and helpful. The owner took us for a private tour of his winery and gave us a tasting of his wines. Wonderful restaurant also on site. Facilities were extremely good and we will be going back for sure.

  It was ok - The fact that they didn't hesitate to give us a "superior" room whennotified that the room we were initially given was dirty and nowherenear 4 stars (price was 166 euros per night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
