  We liked everything about San Lorenzo. It is only a few km from a major highway that runs between Siena and exits to the great Tuscan wine hill towns as well as just over an hour to Assisi. The wifi signal was excellent. The grounds are well manicured and there are cosy seating areas throughout. Free parking was safe and secure.   The room was big , clean and confortable and nicely decorated. The B&B is in the center of the city , there is no parking but you can park in a parking very close to the hotel for 0.60€ per hour(night is free of charge).extremely kind and helpful , very friendly , we had very good breakfast with her , and she bakes lovely cookies :) , she made... what people say » of us an excellent cappucino and proposed even proposd an other one. I would recommand this place to anyone going to Grosseto or near by. - It's located in the 'old town' which is a small old walled city, within the larger city. The pace is slow, relaxed and there's a village feel within the walls. I don't think there are a lot of english speaking tourists, and yet we had no trouble communicating with only basic italian. Fuvia, the owner, is lovely and speaks perfect english, although she is happy to give italian lessons! A lovely stopover on the way from Tuscany to Rome.

The location is not far from the city center. The room is very new, cozy and beautiful, every last detail is perfect. the breakfast buffet, in my opion, has a very high standard sellection of local products. On top of all these, the couple who owned the place are extreamly friendly and helpful, giving us a little instruction of florence on arrival and helping us on our dinner resevations.
