  We really enjoyed our stay at Silvio's from the friendly welcome through to the courtesy shuttle back to the ferry departure. While the property is about 10-15 minutes walk from the town centre and the latter stages are uphill, we enjoyed the location because of the other countryside and lakeside walks that are readily available.   We had a wonderful nights stay at Casa Vacanze Laura. Laura was in contact with us soon after we made the booking to arrange a time for her to bring us the keys. On arrival we called her and she was with us within 5 mins with the keys for the apartment and the pass to park the car on the street for free which was brilliant.   We arrived early into Como hoping we could leave our luggage at the office to explore the region, thankfully and graciously we were able to go straight into our apartment which was much larger than antisipated.   We enjoyed our trip and stay at Hotel Belvedere. The staff were amazing. Especially the staff in the dinning room. I have to have special food and was told to tell them what I wanted to eat and they would fix it for me. Now that is service!!!!! Our room had a large balcony. The view from the balcony was absolutely beautiful. I would highly reco - The hotel is in a splendid position about 5 minutes walk from the centre of Bellagio. I t has a great backdrop of the lake; free parking;The rooms are roomy and well equipped with good beds and bathroom is modern.The staff were animated and friendly and seemed to enjoy being there (the end of the season was approaching) The restaurant , although pricey did offer a good choice but wines are expensive.
