  This a small hotel, with hospitable staff. We had the cosy feeling of being at home. The room was large enough, well organized, comfortable bed, clean (no carpet-only floor tiles).   In principle this is an ordinary mountaineering and/or ski/wintersport hotel located just 200 heigthmeters below the Splügen pass (2213m) in N Italy. The room offered a good bed to sleep in, and a very crampy bathroom. Good local food (dinner, breakfast) offered at the first floor.

  We stayed at this hotel twice in july 2013. For us it was an ideal location on our way to a camping in Toscana, and also for the return trip. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I wasn't too keen to leave my car loaded with 3 bicycles on the parking place. The staff allowed me to park the bicycles in their garage.   The hotel staff is very very nice and friendly!!! We arrived there so early in the morning that the hotel room haven't finished yet. Therefore, the staff put us in to another hotel nearby which is very nice as well.
