lovely 22 room hotel in residential area or Tarquinia. 10mins uphill walk to old walled town which was wonderful and a bus ride to the beach which wasn't that nice. The food in the hotel is superb and has an excellent chef. Hotel arranged a taxi from our ship in Civitecchia and again to take us to Rome Airport. Not anywhere to walk so would recommend a car as its a lovely region.

We found the Residenza Domiziano a wonderful hotel. They did everything possible to make our stay in Rome a wonderful experience. They arranged for a van to come to where we our cruise ship landed and was plenty big enough for seven pieces of luggage and four passengers. I loved the fact that it is a small hotel, and the service is personalised, flexible and very friendly. It is very quiet, there is not a lot of coming and going, and the rooms are quiet, comfortable and relaxing. Beautiful bathroom and toiletries with a lovely big bath. Fabulous! It is also a short walk to the station, which was a big advantage. It is close to the metro, and if you like walking it is an enjoyable walk to most attractions.
