After having spent time in Rome and the mountains of Italy, Naples is completely different. It's more dirty than the other cities we visited in Italy but the people are very warm and welcoming. Heed the warnings and do not travel with expensive jewelry. The scenery from the windows with a view of the port are beautiful.

I stayed at this hotel with my family as we were attending a wedding. Upon arrival which was quite late, being 00:00, I was greeted and offered a drink while I was checked in. Absolutely wonderful hotel, which deserves all the best rating it has. I would say it is rather 3 star hotel than B&B. New, clean, comfortable, close to city centre and railway station featuring open terrace, fully equipped kitchen and coffee machine that allows you to have proper cappuccino for breakfast. manager, is so friendly and helpful and makes sure your needs are met--
we got lost coming from the train station and had to ask a shopkeeper
for directions. He called Eugenio, who personally came over to find us.
The rooms are spacious and pretty, and the bathroom and communal space
are large and well-kept. Breakfast at a local bar/cafe. Overall,
great bang for your buck!

Don't be put off by the entrance. Behind the front door and up the elevator you will find a great B and B with a friendly, helpful owner in a great Naples location. A short walk to the Promenade along the water (even at night), close to an upscale shopping neighborhood but not a bad walk into the central historic district of Naples. Good value BandB.
