Residenza Sant'Anna del Volterraio is a holiday resort that extends over a large valley, 400 meters from the nice seaside village of Bagnaia. It offers guest rooms and self-catering apartments. The Sant'Anna is a large estate of 230 hectares. You can enjoy pleasant walks in the untouched nature of Elba Island, scattered with olive trees, oak trees, oleander and Mediterranean bush. The property is complete with outdoor pools and saunas, free for children under 10 years of age.

The location is nice and very convenient, 20 minutes car from porto azzurro, porto ferraio, capo liveri, rio marina, in a small but very open valley, very green and beautiful, a kind of natural park surrounded on three sides by mountains (the forth side being a beach).Very nice and kind of elegant the large swimming pool in the center of the park. Clean and well kept, very quiet. Very nice the staff, really all of them, with a particular thought to Rrrromina, who whit her sense of humor made ou. The area is very green and car free which makes it an ideal relax zone especially with young kids. The pools were very nice althought the kids pool was a bit colder than the bigger pool. The appartments are of sufficient size and all have a nice private terrase. Kids playground in the park. Apartment was spacious and comfortable, views were astounding, gardens and pool were excellent. Beach a few minutes walk away, local village was friendly and had amenities needed for a self catering holiday. The area is wonderful the place is so nice and quite. the residence was very clean and nice view. the Pool is fantastic I would go again. The Staff are very helpful and welcoming. The swimmingpool is great and there are many of green plants. It is quite place (we were in september) for family with small bambino ;). the swimming pool !. All fantastic. The internet is poor (when you can connect is good, but it is difficult to connect). The breakfast is poor, not much choice (that is strange because it could be easily improved by adding simple local products which would probably add very little on the costs, like some freshly cut ham and salami, some water melon, bruschettas). The garage was rather thin to our SUV :) but we learned how to get in there. Well something we didn't like is our neighbours because every morning they went outside the terrace smoking and the smell entered in our residence. I do understand that this is something that the hotel & residence owners is difficult to control but I believe that there could be solutions. Bagnaia don't have sandy beach. decoration in the room could be improved. cooking facilities ordinary. Linen very scarce. no daily cleaning service some of staff.
