Five Roses B&B was truly amazing. Flavia the owner was the perfect host. Making sure everything was ok, her recommendations for places to eat were first class. The breakfasts were out of this world, homemade everything, and if you returned in the afternoon the place was filled with a homely baking aroma. all reviews » Many people here don't like the location of "Five Roses", but for me it is quite the contrary. The B&B is very easy to reach, if u decide to simply walk from the airport - literally 15 mins - walk along via dell'Aeroporto, cross the railway tracks, go down the stairs and you will face via Antonio Fratti, walk along it and the gate will be on ur left - impossible to miss! It is also quite close to Pisa central station, which is ideal if u plan to see more of Tuscany. Else, "Five Roses" has a. Flavia the owner was welcoming and helpful. Her English is good and she helped me with my dodgy Italian pronunciation! The B&B is simply and tastefully decorated, comfortable and quiet. It is located within central Pisa near to the railway station, which is about a 10 minute walk. Leaning Tower is a 20-30 minute walk from the B&B. Of the 4 places we stayed whilst exploring the Cinque Terre, Five Roses was by far the best. Breakfast was delicious as Flavia makes the specialist cak. Very convenient location - Flavia the owner offered to meet us at the airport (at 10.30 pm!) and brought 4 of us and all our baggage back to the B&B free of charge. From the B&B it was a 20-30 min walk to all the main sights. Elegant, clean, comfortable & well equipped rooms. Delicious breakfast served in a pleasant dining room. Absolutely nothing. |Nothing!!. The location is slightly out of the town centre, so a short walk in to view the sights. No garden. Everything was fine. Breakfast was limited. WiFi sucks, with constant outages. Breakfast, albeit good, lack hot meal. Heating insufficient; mornings are ice cold.
