  This hotel is a real gem! We loved our stay here. It is a hotel with mostly Italian and European people. The room had fantastic view of the sea. They were clean and comfortable, and had everything one needs. The restaurant was very good. The bathrooms are small, but adequate. The owner and staff were very helpful and even mailed a package with som... what people say » ething we forgot for us! We will return! - Sea was just outside the front door. Beach shoes needed to get to the shore. Sea was great to swim in, even late in October. Staff was exceptional and food was great. Room a little small, but great value.

  It was just perfect, wish we would have stayed here longer. Gioiosa Marea is a hidden gem far away from mass tourism, the beautiful seaview from the train station felt like a red carpet. You get a free pick-up (and drop-off) up in the hills where it is situated. I think it's a family company, everyone is so warm and welcoming, especially the 'lady... what people say » of the house'. Our studio was incredibly cute and cosy and we had a private patio with stunning view. There's a swimming pool which is just like in t - Beautiful, quiet location and accommodation. Very very relaxing stay. Staff were welcoming and helpful in finding out the best places to visit based on our preferences. Would also recommend eating at the residence at the weekend as they serve dinner which was local cuisine and excellent value for money.
