Our 2 year old daughter was sick so the owner took us to the hospital to see a doctor. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment that was clean and very spacious. My first trip to Assisi but I will absolutely return. - Hotel Sorella Luna is literally around the corner from the Basilica di San Francesco and convenient for walking to other sites, cafes and restaurants. The room and the bed are comfortable and the bathroom is modern with quality fittings. Although the building is old, in your room you feel that you are in a brand new hotel, not an historical hotel. A good continental breakfast is served in a pleasant breakfast room. The waitress who made fresh expresso and was always cheerful and helpful.

HIGHLY recommend!!!!!!!! - The welcome given by Maximo on arrival was excellent - home made wine, bruchetta & cherries, along with a beautiful view whilst enjoying them. Maximo's mother is a great cook providing delicious cake's for breakfast. The accommodation was very comfortable & only a few minutes from Assisi. We were also fortunate to see fireflies at night, a phenomenon we hadn't experienced before.
