  My husband and I stayed at the B&B Serpotta when we first arrived in Sicily and liked it so much that we extended our stay by one night. We also rebooked at the B&B for our last night before heading home. The rooms/suites are beyond what you would expect from a B&B. The B&B also has a hot tub and workout area which again is beyond most B&B - I (67 yrs) was travelling with my God daughter (29) who has cerebral palsy. All the staff treated her with respect and good humour and indulged her attempts to speak Italian, she has difficulty speaking English! Nothing was too much trouble and when an incident occurred that necessitated a change of bedding, I was assure it was "no problem". The apartment was more than I expected, beautifully appointed and scrupulously clean. A truly wonderful stay.

The place was very clean and modern. The bathroom for the room is not actually connected to the room but across the hall. This isn't a big deal as there are only about 4 rooms in the hall. The minibar is cheap and well stocked. There is a supermarket just around the corner as well as some nice restaurants and an information centre.   This is an interesting place in the absolute heart of old Palermo. It has an art gallery on the ground floor and occupies several rooms of a renovated apartment block.
