This small, bright, modern, family run hotel is located very close to the Milan Bergamo airport. We took a cab but it turned out to be walking distance and we walked back to the airport the next day (15-20 minute easy walk). Excellent hosts, charming, welcoming and helpful. Bright, spacious, modern bedroom, great en suite bathroom. Double glazed, very quiet, not troubled by aircraft noise. There are 3 restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. all reviews » The owners are a very cute and gentle couple. Very happy faces that makes you feel like home! In the wellcoming the lady served us a handmade cake very tasteful! The room is very comfortable , new and clean! The wi-fi signal is very strong! It located next to the airport that's why you don't need to take a taxi, by foot is about 20minutes around the airport. If you have time to visit Bergamo is 10minutes by bus, very close and worth it! Orio is a small village quiet with smiley people. Take a w. This hotel is really amazing. For the price, you get a lot. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay after a late flight into Bergamo. I would even stay here again just for fun regardless of my flight -- it's close enough to Milan and the town of Bergamo, which I really want to go back to! The owners were so friendly and breakfast was great. The room was quite nice, comfortable, and modern. The owners also directed me to a wonderful and inexpensive restaurant just a block from the hotel. . Very intelligent man-the owner of this family hotel. Were a little upset because of our short stay but have plans to come here again. Can recomend this place and the hotel like a starting point in your trip to Milano region, including Milano, lake Como, large Outlet near Bergamo airport for shopping and of course Bergamo itself (don't miss it).Just few steps from the hotel there is one of the best in Italy (to my mind) family pizzeria "Giardinetto Ristorante Pizzeria". Come and try their excell. Family run B&B close to Milan/Bergamo airport. There is a walking/bike path from airport to Orio al Serio town. In early am returned to airport with 10e shuttle that B&B set up for us. We took a 5Euro bus from Milan Centrale train station for hour drive to Bergamo/Orio al Serio airport. Warm& friendly owners. Owner showed my husband the frescoes in the private residence. Loaned us an umbrella for the evening. Room was very big & clean! Bathroom & tub/shower was the biggest o. Guido, - the concierge is a delight! He was SO helpful and sincerely wanted to enhance your stay in any way he could! I was very sad that we were only staying for one night - it would have been lovely to chat to this delightful fellow more.The room was spacious, extremely clean and comfortable. We chose this hotel due to it's proximity to the airport and this worked very well for our early morning flight. Even though we left prior to breakfast, Guido packed us a "bag breakfast" to take to t. We booked this hotel because we had to catch an early flight the next day. staff very very nice and very helpful.They organised our transport ton and from airport at a very decent price. They even put a basket with breakfast in the room so we could take it in the morning as flight was very early and so we would have missed breakfast. then owner Guido and his wife are a very pleasant couple and they go out of their way to help in anything you need. We were welcomed with kindness and consideration. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was very clean and comfortable - we had everything we needed and the bathroom (en-suite) was very clean and modern. As we had an early morning flight, we were provided with a packed breakfast for the journey, and a call to the shuttle bus company provided us with transport to the airport which is cheaper than a taxi. The family are very passionate about the area,And the renovating of the old part of the building, it rubs off on you....their attention to detail is very refreshing.so many place cram you in to small spaces there's barely room for a toilet.also there care about the impact there part in the travel industry has on the environment,but still manage to provide a little bit of luxury (for example the toiletries ) Thank you.... We stayed overnight night at Stile Libero so we were near Milan Bergamo airport for our morning flight. The B&B was very stylish and had all the amenities required to make a very comfortable stay. The owner recommended a local Pizzeria which was very good and although the B&B may not be the cheapest one around we thought that the vicinity to the airport and the ambiance of the building was worth what we paid. It was exactly what we were looking for - reasonable cost, very near the airport. We were pleasantly surprised with the size of the room. If we had stayed longer we would have looked around Bergamo and used it as a base. The family who own the hotel have an interested story to tell of the building next door (their home) which they have restored. It would be a perfect hotel for a business trip. The hotel was very clean, the man at the reception /I guess the owner/ waited for us even if though it was past 11 P. M. when we checked in. He suggested to give us our breakfast in a package since our plane left very early on the following morning. And even asked if we need a shuttle to Bergamo airport. There is wifi in the rooms which are really spacious and very clean. It was a good place to stay after arriving at Bergamo Airport (or prior to departure), an easy Taxi ride to and from the Airport building. About €15 Clean and pleasant environment in good class neighbourhood.Safe on the street parking. With regards to questions 3 above and 6 below, I would suggest it that the Hotel is just a good location if using the Airport. The staff was great, and it is a good choice if you have an early flight and you don´t want to spend a lot of money. It´s like 15/20 min walking to the airport, but they also have shuttles to the airport for 10 euros at any hour you want, you just have to ask. They´ll even leave you breakfast in a bag for you to take to the airport. I highly recommend it!. Everything. The hotel is run by a delightful couple who did everything to make my short stay enjoyable: they booked a bargain-price taxi, recommended Claudio's restaurant (a social and gastronomic experience) and had breakfast ready for me at 3 a.m. The hotel is tastefully decorated and furnished, and very comfortable. It is close to Bergamo aitport. Perfect for when you have an overnight layover. The owner was very nice and even got up early to be sure we had some coffee/tea and something to eat before we left. He also arranged our traavel back to the airport with a van service that was cheaper than a cab. IT also has free wifi!. Loved the whole experience!! Great service from the whole family, our room was large and bed was comfortable. Very clean too!! We look forward to booking our next trip back to Stile libero. VERY close to the airport. The proprietor was helpful in telling us which restaurants were nearby (takeaway pizza one block away, pizza restaurant two blocks away, fancier restaurant three blocks away). The area is nice and there is a small lot with deer nearby, which our son liked!. We liked everything, from the friendlyness of the owners to the near bt lovely restaurant, was clean, elegant, quiete...we where there only one night in transit for a next flight the next morning but when we return to Mian that hotel will certainly be the one again !. Nothing-- I had a wonderful stay. Few choices of restaurants. Only 3 in town. One was closed & other was a wine bar. I'm not a city person, so probably wouldn't spend much time here simply for that reason. nothing. There was only one pillow and I found mine a bit too firm to aid a restful sleep. We only had one automatic key which controlled the electric and if one of us wanted to go into the village, the other was left without lighting, heating control or TV. can't think of anything..... A bit pricey. Nothing to dislike, but if you hire a car at Bergamo and arrive in the dark and have never been before it is difficult to find. Staff at the Airport/ hire company did not seem to know of the hotel so no help with directions. The map provided by the Hotel could be more helpful . In the end we hired a Taxi from the Airport to guide us to the hotel. Maybe we are not good navigators. Nothing at all. Nothing gave us cause for complaint if you only need a stopover hotel. There is no parking except the four or so public spaces outside the door. We were glad to have a ground floor room, but we could easily hear the people seated in the breakfast area. The airport transfer charge was €10 which is a bit steep considering how close it is-walked instead and it took 20 minutes(cabin luggage only) but it's a direct safe route so it was ok & we enjoyed the walk. Would have preffered the beds to be a double rather than 2 single that we had to put them together, but they would not stay, we also got the last room. TV shows about 150 channels, none of which are in English. All In Italian only. nothing.. The transportation from the airport was a problem. There is no bus and the airport taxi crooks wanted 15 euro to take you 2.2 kilometers so hotel personnel must come pick you up. Other than that everything was good. - no airport shuttle to get there - we had to take a taxi. nothing. weakness of wifi. Nothing. distance from the airport. you have to take a taxi because with feet is arround 1km ( 15-20 minutes by walking ). The adjustment of the temperature in the room was too challenging or there was something wrong in the system. I got cold during the night.
