The villa itself, the grounds, and the surrounding countryside were spectacular -- so peaceful and calming. The room was beautiful, with large verandas and a large bathroom with a separate stand-alone shower and bathtub, something I have never seen elsewhere in Italy. But best of all, the front desk person helped me to find my long-lost cousin who lives in Novi Ligure, by looking up his phone number for me, placing the phone call for me, and explaining to my cousin in Italian that I was his lo.
all reviews » Excellent hotel will exceptional location (very close to the Seravalle outlet village), you can rent a bicycle and have a ride - very beautiful wineyards nearby. We got a feeling like we stayed not in the simple hotel but a castle with its own history, with its particular furniture!. Great building and gardens in an otherwise bizarre setting surrounded by factories and shopping centres. Comfortable room and beds, good breakfast. The Villa Pomela was a very nicely appointed hotel with very nice grounds. The restaurant was quite good. They have an excellent restaurant, "Ristorante Al Cortese", which has wonderful food and service. Great hotel, great surrounding, very near to the Outlet village, fair prices for great stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms, big bathroom, big balcony!. Place, personal, view, rooms, buildind very very beautiful... location,view,restorant in house, property lot,terrace. Beautiful grounds, nice breakfast and excellent staff. It's a Nice hotel with a good cost/benefit relation. staff, location for walking with young children. The atmosphere. .the concierge lady at the desk was very nice and helpful .the room was large,clean,well equiped. Great castle location and beautiful surroundings, superb view from large room balcony, lots of parking spaces, lots of free room amenities (intimate gel, shaving set etc.), house wines available to buy offered in hotel room. Super. you need to fill in the password for the WiFi every 30 mins. nothing. There was not a ton of things to do at the villa or the surrounding area (although there was an outlet mall) so not sure it would make for a great stay for more than a couple of days. WiFi was hopeless. It kept cutting out and was very, very slow. As I was on a business trip it was hopeless. They need to upgrade. The mattress in the baby crib was smaller than the crib itself. Baby slept with us. Wireless didn't work in the room. except soundproof wall. Only way to reach property if you are travelling by train is to pay 10-15 euros on taxi and taxis are very hard to come by in Novi Ligure station. The restaurant is too expensive. you need car to reach the hotel. It was very difficult to find the location, I would recommend to enter the GPS coordinates in your navigator. Nothing. To much waiting in the restaurant. Looked to me that they where understaffed - or too much to do..... сUisine is not very good,, I would like a typical Italian meal. .the room,eventhough well equiped,was terribly old fashioned,poor bed linings,flimsy cover .there is no charm whatsoever,no atmospher,quite a bad feeling .the restaurant(the only one around)was terrible and very expensive. Duvet cover smellt horrible, breakfast should be served at 7.30 am but till 8 am there was still no bread, there was no wifi in the rooms, only in public places and nobody offered us any drink at the bar although we were waiting for half an hour hopelessly. Breakfast.
